Outgoing Rep. Trey Gowdy drops BOMB on colleague Adam Schiff: ‘If collusion existed he would have LEAKED it’

(National SentinelPolitically Corrupt: For nearly two years as the “Russian collusion” hoax was probed by the House Intelligence Committee and other congressional panels, a series of high-profile, carefully-timed leaks to the media plagued the investigative effort.

As the investigation continued, eventually lawmakers and other observers began to notice a pattern: Whenever Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., was involved and it looked as though exculpatory evidence surfaced to disprove the allegations, something would be leaked to the media that made it appear as though there was ‘something there.’

Soon, people began to call Schiff out for his ‘suspected’ leaking.

In December Dan Scavino, an assistant to POTUS Donald Trump ripped “leaker Adam Schiff” in a tweet.

“Just a reminder that CNNCBS and MSNBC have yet to explain how numerous ‘independent’ sources all misread the date on an email in calls to each of those three outlets. No explanation. None,”  former Bush White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer tweeted.

Scavino replied:

“Perhaps they are waiting to hear back from Leaker Schiff?”

In January POTUS Trump and White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders piled on, calling out Schiff as well.

“All I see of these Democrats, like Adam Schiff — it’s all he does, he’ll have a meeting, and then he’ll leave, and he’ll call up the meeting, and then I’ll have a meeting and then he’ll leave. He left meetings where people are being interviewed, and then all of a sudden they say a story about what’s going on inside the meetings,” Trump said.

Sanders also took aim at Schiff.

“The only people that we’ve seen trying to influence the investigation are former Director Comey and Democrats in Congress — and that would include Senator Feinstein, Representative Schiff — who have both selectively leaked to the media witness interviews,” said Sanders.

“We see that to be a big problem and something that should certainly be considered and looked at,” she added.

Also in January, congressional colleague Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., who is retiring this year, pointed a finger at Schiff for claiming that evidence of “Russian collusion” with the Trump campaign really does exist — though the investigation hasn’t uncovered any evidence.

Gowdy put the finishing touches on his rebuttal to “leaker” Adam Schiff on Sunday.

As reported by The Daily Caller:

South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy said Sunday that, after 18 months of congressional investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government, he has yet to see a “scintilla” of evidence showing that there was coordination between the two sides.

The Republican also said it is unlikely that any Democrat has seen evidence of collusion because if they had, California Rep. Adam Schiff would have already leaked it.

“I have not seen one scintilla of evidence that this president colluded, conspired, confederated with Russia, and neither has anyone else, or you may rest assured Adam Schiff would have leaked it,” Gowdy said during an interview on “Fox News Sunday.”

That’s why they’ve moved off of collusion onto obstruction of justice, which is now their current preoccupation,” he added.

There’s no way a president — who is in charge of the Executive Branch and all its agencies (including the Justice Department) — is guilty of obstruction by firing certain employees since they all serve at his pleasure.

But the fact that Gowdy so plainly outted Schiff is the clearest evidence yet that a) he leaks (a lot!) and b) there’s no there there.

It’s time to end the bogus Mueller Witch Hunt.
