Hillary: Allegations of sexual assault against hubby Bill ‘different’ from those against Kavanaugh

(National SentinelDetached: It must be something to live in the same world Hillary Clinton lives in, being completely detached from reality and always finding new and inventive ways to refute the facts.

In an interview with Christiane Amanpour of CNN ahead of her upcoming international tour, which launches after the November elections (why, again, does anyone want to pay to listen to this woman?), she was asked about the allegations of sexual assault against her husband, former President Bill Clinton, and Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

The response she gave was just mind-boggling.

Noting that Clinton was bound to face such questions, Amanpour asked, “Are you prepared to answer those questions? Is he prepared to answer them? And how do you see that, similar or different, from what President Trump is accused of? And Kavanaugh?”

Hillary responded: “Well, I think there is a very significant difference.”

The Blaze reported further:

The twice-failed presidential candidate cited the Ken Starr investigation, which concluded that then-President Clinton lied under oath when he denied having sexual relations with White House intern Monica Lewinsky. Clinton characterized the Starr investigation as an “intense, long-lasting partisan investigation.”

“If, you know, the Republicans, starting with President Trump on down, want a comparison, they should welcome such an investigation themselves,” Clinton said.

Just. Wow.

Let’s start with the most obvious difference: The allegations against Bill Clinton were (and remain) credible, as there was evidence to support his sexual deviancy and dalliances. There was no such evidence to corroborate the allegations against Kavanaugh.

Besides the infamous semen-stained dress belonging to Monica Lewinsky, Bill Clinton was impeached by the House of Representatives for lying about his sexual relationship with Lewinsky under oath.

Then there are the allegations by other women including a charge of rape by Juanita Broaddrick. In a recent tweet, she noted — forcefully — that not all allegations against Bill Clinton have been investigated.

Plus, Bill Clinton settled a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by Paula Jones.

“Significant difference,” Hillary? You bet there is.

  1. If by “different” she means “way more credible”, then yeah, I guess they’re different. Kind of like the differences between the Bill Cosby accusers and the Kavanaugh accusers, these kinds of comparisons only make Brett Kavanaugh look more innocent, which isn’t even necessary, his guilt was never anywhere near proven.
