The Latest:

If GOP claims of vote fraud in Florida are bogus, why did the state Democratic Party just lawyer up?

(National SentinelMounting a Defense: For nearly two weeks the Florida Democratic Party, aided and abetted by the disgustingly dishonest establishment media (CNN, take a bow here), have been accusing Republicans of falsely claiming that “vote fraud” and “election theft” were taking place in the Sunshine State since the 2018 midterms.

There was enough of a concern, however, that the Florida Department of State asked the federal prosecutors to look into “irregularities” especially in two key Democratic strongholds, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

“The courts have already forced Rick Scott to drop a lawsuit after false claims of fraud, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement rejected his desperate attempts to interfere with the important work of counting ballots,” said spokesperson Caroline Rowland, in an email to Politico. “Now, Scott is once again trying to divert attention and resources from a smooth and successful recount.”

That has been the FDP’s go-to response no matter how much actual evidence has been discovered to support GOP allegations of election tampering — and never mind that one election supervisor, Broward’s Brenda Snipes, has been in legal hot water before over similar actions.

Well, the FDP changed its story on Friday before the organization lawyered up.

Politico noted:

“Upon receiving notice of the allegations that the form was incorrect, FDP took immediate steps, including hiring an independent investigator to review the issues at hand,” attorney Mark Herron said in a statement provided by a party spokeswoman. “As soon as we know the results of the investigation we will advise you.”

Herron went to CNN to break the news Friday morning, one week after the vote-by-mail “cure affidavits” were sent to U.S. Attorneys Christopher P. Canova of the Northern District of Florida, Maria Chapa Lopez of the Middle District of Florida and Ariana Fajardo Orshan of the Southern District of Florida.

So that even CNN correspondents and hacks can understand, it is a violation of Florida election laws to alter dates on forms that are subsequently mailed to voters. That’s fraudulent.

Politico reported that it’s a third-degree felony to “knowingly and willfully … make or use any false document, knowing the same to contain any false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or entry.”

Key word: “Fraudulent.”

So for the Democratic public relations division — a.k.a. the establishment media — to have continually reported that such GOP allegations were “false” and that there was “no evidence” of fraud, the proof may now in the hands of U.S. attorneys.

Here’s another great passage from the Politico report: “The use of altered documents to reach out to voters whose mail ballots were initially rejected is the cherry on top of a disastrous election cycle for Florida Democrats.”

Now, incoming Gov.-elect Ron DeSantis (yes, Democrat Andrew Gillum has conceded — again), must make it a priority to clean up his state’s pathetically inadequate election laws that make it easy for Democrats to muck up the election process and stretch it out for days in an attempt to steal victories.

His law enforcement effort should begin by prosecuting “alleged” serial elections violator Brenda Snipes.
