Spygate ‘unmasker’ Samantha Power criticizes Trump for ‘compensating Putin’ in Syria: How dare he keep a campaign promise

(TNS) Someone needs to tell former U.S. Ambassador to the UN Samantha Power that her Garbage Party and its propagandists in the “mainstream” media have moved on from the “Russian collusion” hoax to a new one: The Ukraine “bribery” hoax.

Maybe this former Obama administration sycophant is no longer on 44’s email list or something, but she’s clearly behind the times.

On Monday the “unmasker-in-chief” (top, left) blasted President Donald Trump for keeping a campaign promise: Pulling most American forces out of Syria.

Doing so, Democrats have argued, was a “gift” for Russian President Vladimir Putin because that’s what Trump’s presidency is really about: Doing for Moscow.

“Every day Donald Trump finds new ways to compensate Vladimir Putin for his election interference. And every day Putin gains additional incentive to interfere again on Trump’s behalf in 2020,” Power wrote on Twitter.

What is she babbling about, you ask?

Well, because Russian troops now occupy an airbase once used by American forces — who, again, have withdrawn — this constitutes “compensation” from Trump to Putin.

Mind you, it was never our base to keep. Recall that it was located in Syria which, for the uninformed, isn’t located in the United States.

Also, after U.S. forces have been fighting and dying in one Middle East disaster zone after another for decades, we’re good with letting Russian forces start doing some fighting and dying there. Go for it, Bro-skis.

For Power, though, this is all “Russian collusion” again because, after all, she played her role in the hoax too.

The New York Post noted in September 2017:

Samantha Power, who was the US Ambassador to the UN under former President Barack Obama, averaged more than one “unmasking” request for every working day in 2016 — even going so far as to seek the names of Trump associates just before his inauguration, a report says.

Sources told Fox News that Power tried to expose more than 260 people last year, most in the final days of the Obama administration.

The 46-year-old is one of several officials who worked for the former president and are now facing congressional scrutiny for their “unmasking” attempts.

The process is ultimately carried out when one wants to reveal the identity of an individual whose name surfaced in foreign intelligence documents.

In June we added:

In an appearance on Fox News with Sean Hannity Tuesday night, The Hill‘s ace investigative reporter and columnist John Solomon said newly uncovered emails have, after more than two years, finally uncovered the “nexus” of who was ultimately responsible, other than former President Obama, for the improper unmasking of hundreds of American citizens whose names were contained in highly classified reports.

Solomon, who said bigger news was coming on Wednesday, nevertheless could report that emails he’s reviewed thus far indicate that former UN Ambassador Samantha Power was at the center of those extremely unusual requests.

In 2016 alone, Hannity noted, there was a 350 percent increase in the unmasking of Americans, confidential sources, and other classified information that is normally very closely kept by intelligence agencies.

“Why was that?” he asked.

Solomon noted that he has obtained emails from Power around the time she reportedly requested to “unmask” more than 260 Americans whose identities were caught up in the surveillance of non-U.S. citizens.

He noted further that the government emails indicate the “same sort of anti-Trump bias” that was evident in text messages exchanged by ex-FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page as they were involved in the sham investigation into Hillary Clinton’s criminal mishandling of classified emails and the so-called “Spygate” probe involving the 2016 Trump campaign.

“I can tell you that Samantha Power and her colleagues were doing the same thing on the official State email system,” Solomon said.

“And then in the final days of the administration, after two years of the intelligence community raising concerns about who should have access to this information, after the Obama administration went to the FISA court and belatedly disclosed hundreds of violations just before the [2016] election, they make the decision that they’re going to disseminate sensitive intelligence to more people, not less people, expand the universe of people who can gain it and potentially leak it at the beginning of the Trump administration,” Solomon continued.

Yes, that Samantha Power — whose boss, Obama, gave his assurances to Mother Russia’s then-president, Dmitry Medvedev, assurances that after the 2012 election he’d have more “flexibility” to sign away American security after caving on Europe-based missile defenses.

But hey…Trump is Putin’s ‘boy’ in the White House, wink, wink.

Not even special counsel Robert Mueller bought that hoax.
