POTUS Trump’s campaign launch event drawing 100,000 while ‘Impeach Trump’ events attracted almost no one nationwide

President Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign is scheduled to kick off at a massive event in Orlando, Fla., on Tuesday, but supporters began lining up to get inside the venue more than a day in advance.

While enthusiasm for the president’s event somehow escaped attention of the Washington establishment media — reelection kickoffs used to be big news — locally, Florida outlets are reporting on the masses of people hoping to get a chance to see him live on Tuesday when the event kicks off around 8 p.m. EDT.

“There’s going to be a bunch of people, and it’s going to be pretty intense,” one supporter said in an interview with Orlando media. “The electricity is going to be high. It’s time for America to get back on its feet and be made better than it’s ever been before.”

POTUS Trump took to Twitter to say that there had been 100,000 ticket requests for the event. He added that the rally “looks to be setting records.” The Amway Center, where the event is scheduled, seats 20,000.

“We are building large movie screens outside to take care of everybody,” Trump tweeted.

Local officials have already begun making plans to handle a massive turn-out, local media reported.

Meanwhile, over the weekend there were more than 140 “Impeach Trump” events scheduled around the country, though none of them drew anything close to the crowd size expected at the Orlando rally.

In fact, many drew just a few people, including one in Florida.

“MoveOn claimed that there were over 140 protests across the country. However, the only gatherings of any note occurred in the liberal strongholds of New York City and California,” reported Steve Watson. “Footage of the events confirmed turnout was lackluster, with numbers in the low hundreds.”

The president mocked the crowd sizes for the ‘impeach’ events.

“Yesterday was the Radical Left Democrats big Impeachment day. They worked so hard to make it something really big and special but had one problem – almost nobody showed up,” he wrote. “Democrat voters want to hear the politicians talking about issues. This is a huge distraction and will only help Donald Trump get elected..”

At the same time virtually no one showed up to the Impeach Trump events, separate polls — including one from Fox News released on Monday — claim that any of the top Democrats running for their party’s nomination would be the president right now in a head-to-head matchup, some by double digits.

The polling figures and the reality on the ground — huge support for the president’s rallies while paltry attendance at impeach rallies — would seem to indicate a huge discrepancy that Democrats and their Left-wing media allies have yet to explain.
