(National Sentinel) Broward Cowards: If this story is even close to being true, the family of young Kyle Kashuv, Parkland, Florida, school shooting survivor, may have a legal case against the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

You may remember young Mr. Kashuv. He’s the antithesis to the American Pravda media darling David Hogg, who was a permanent fixture on Left-wing cable news programs for weeks after Nikolas Cruz “allegedly” murdered 14 fellow students and three school employees.

According to The Daily Wire, Kashuv went to a local gun range with his father on Friday, tweeting out the following statement and photos:

“It was great learning about our inalienable right of #2A and how to properly use a gun. This was my first time ever touching a gun and it made me appreciate the #Constitution even more. My instructor was very informative; I learnt a lot. #2A is important and we need 2 preserve 2A,” he wrote.

Kashuv noted further, “My dad was there and I shot with an AR-15. After, I posted a few pictures and videos.”

The supervised, instructional visit to the gun range earned him a visit from no fewer than three armed school resource officers.

The Daily Wire reports that young Kashuv was pulled out of class and instructed to go to the principal’s office where he was confronted by one officer, who was joined by another, who was then joined by a third.

He recounts the story this way:

Near the end of third period, my teacher got a call from the office saying I need to go down and see a Mr. Greenleaf. I didn’t know Mr. Greenleaf, but it turned out that he was an armed school resource officer. I went down and found him, and he escorted me to his office. Then a second security officer walked in and sat behind me. Both began questioning me intensely. First, they began berating my tweet, although neither of them had read it; then they began aggressively asking questions about who I went to the range with, whose gun we used, about my father, etc. They were incredibly condescending and rude.

Then a third officer from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office walked in, and began asking me the same questions again. At that point, I asked whether I could record the interview. They said no. I asked if I had done anything wrong. Again, they answered no. I asked why I was there. One said, “Don’t get snappy with me, do you not remember what happened here a few months ago?”

They continued to question me aggressively, though they could cite nothing I had done wrong. They kept calling me “the pro-Second Amendment kid.” I was shocked and honestly, scared. It definitely felt like they were attempting to intimidate me.

I was treated like a criminal for no reason other than having gone to the gun range and posted on social media about it.

Here’s a pic of his hall pass with instructions where to report:

Straight up, if what young Mr. Kashuv relates is accurate, this is harassment and it could very well be illegal harassment. If nothing else, the kid’s parents should consult a lawyer to find out their options.

For these three “school resource officers” to harangue and browbeat a student like this for no reason other than they disagree with his point of view and perhaps even his past time is the ultimate in cowardice.

But then again, as we’ve learned, that is a common trait among Broward County Sheriff’s deputies — one of whom ran away, essentially, from the shooter Cruz and as many as three others who responded during the shooting but refused to enter the building to confront the shooter.

Oh, but they’ve got lots of ‘courage’ to confront an unarmed high school student who hasn’t committed any crime and who believes that every amendment in the Constitution is equally important to freedom and liberty.

And then hide behind their badges and pretend what they’ve done is right.

Young Mr. Kashuv has been an outspoken advocate for the Second Amendment before and after the horrific Valentine’s Day murders. The more he is harassed the less likely he will be to change his stance, you can bet on that.

But in the meantime, someone — Gov. Rick Scott, we’re looking at you — had better send some state officials to Broward County to fix an obviously broken sheriff’s department before more innocent kids get harassed while thugs known to authorities as troublemakers with short fuses are left free to commit mass murder.
