Trump goads House Dems after State Dept. reveals ‘multiple security incidents’ tied to Hillary: ‘Will they investigate?’

By Jon Dougherty

(NationalSentinel) On Monday, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich observed that the so-called wheels of justice do grind in Washington, D.C., but slowly.

The former Georgia Republican lawmaker made his comments in regards to “Spygate” and whether or not the Justice Department’s inspector general’s impending report about the origins of the scandal would finally name names and reveal other details not yet known.

“Over time, slowly, grindingly, lots of stuff comes out that smart people thought they could keep secret,” he told Fox News‘ “Fox & Friends” morning show.

True enough. After the first details emerged more than two years ago regarding the Obama administration’s attempt to undermine, then depose, a duly elected president, we have steadily learned more and more about the worst political scandal in the history of our country.

And this week, we’ve learned even more about how frequently POTUS Donald Trump’s 2016 Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, endangered U.S. national security as she selfishly, and illegally, maneuvered to keep details of her activities hidden from the American people — by using a homebrew, unsecured email server, by destroying tens of thousands of emails Congress had subpoenaed, and other methods.

On Monday, the State Department revealed that officials have identified “multiple security incidents” involving current or former employees’ handling of Hillary’s emails. Further, the department issued at least 23 “violations” and seven “infractions” as part of its ongoing investigation into the abuse.

As Fox News reports, the information was contained in a letter to Sen. Charles Grassley, who is overseeing the department’s security review.

“To this point, the Department has assessed culpability to 15 individuals, some of whom were culpable in multiple security incidents,” wrote Mary Elizabeth Taylor, the State Department’s Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Legislative Affairs. “DS has issued 23 violations and 7 infractions incidents. … This number will likely change as the review progresses.”

For review, even the highly politicized former FBI Director James Comey noted in his infamous July 2016 press conference clearing Hillary of any criminal liability for mishandling classified emails that she did, in fact, do that crime.

“Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case,” Comey said.

The revelations by the State Department didn’t escape the attention of POTUS Trump, who has been victimized by Obama loyalists within the deep state throughout his presidency.

What’s more, the president challenged Democrats in the House to do something about it, saying in a tweet, “This is really big.”

“Wow! The State Department said it has identified 30 Security Incidents involving current or former employees and their handling of Crooked Hillary Clinton’s Emails,” he wrote. “This is really big. Never admitted before. Highly Classified Material. Will the Dems investigate this?”

The State Department called the matter “serious,” adding that it expects to wrap up its probe by Sept. 1 — though that sure seems like a long time given the fact that Hillary resigned as secretary of state in 2013 so she could gear up for her 2016 run.

“Given the volume of emails provided to the Department from former Secretary Clinton’s private email server, the Department’s process has been necessarily more complicated and complex requiring a significant dedication of time and resources,” Taylor wrote to Grassley.

Still, she did say that disciplinary actions are pending.

“In every instance in which the Department found an individual to be culpable of a valid security violation or three or more infractions, the Department forwarded the outcome to the Bureau of Diplomatic Security’s Office of Personnel Security and Suitability (DS/PSS), to be placed in the individuals’ official security file,” Taylor wrote.

“All valid security incidents are reviewed by DS and taken into account every time an individual’s eligibility for access to classified information is considered,” she added.

“This referral occurred whether or not the individual was currently employed with the Department of State and such security files are kept indefinitely,” Taylor noted further.

“Consistent with the referral policy, for individuals who were still employed with the Department at the time of adjudication, the Department referred all valid security violations or multiple infractions to the Bureau of Human Resources.”

As for the State Department, there is culpability here — also with the FBI, as Judicial Watch reported in March:

According to a February report by One America News, [JW President Tom] Fitton and JW have discovered new evidence indicating that a lawyer for Clinton pressured the FBI after it reopened an investigation into her criminal mishandling of classified emails just a few days before the 2016 election which she would go on to lose.

In an interview with the network, Fitton said the evidence is contained within FBI emails as part of a larger batch of communications his organization had been attempting to obtain via Freedom of Information Act requests.

Specifically, the former top FBI lawyer, James Baker, was in communication with Clinton’s lawyer, David Kendall, after the latter called the bureau and demanded to speak with him about the renewed probe.

Speaking of Baker, he testified to Congress that he was “appalled” Hillary wasn’t charged under the Espionage Act:

The former lead counsel for the FBI told congressional investigators that he was of the mindset that then-Democratic presidential contender Hillary Clinton should have faced charges for criminal mishandling of classified emails.

James Baker said he was “appalled” at the amount of “highly classified” information that passed through Clinton’s unsecured email server, adding that he believed she should have been criminally prosecuted for that conduct…

The file must have been buried in the investigator’s inbox. Yeah, that’s why it took sooooo long!

  2. Hillary will never be prosecuted for anything. EVERYONE knows she’s guilty and what she has done, but no one is willing to step up and say it in public because (I think) they are deathly afraid they will end up on her “kick the bucket” list. She rules by pure fear.
