Thanks to the diligence of Judicial Watch and its president, Tom Fitton, the organization has managed to unearth more of Hillary Clinton’s ‘lost’ emails, several of which were classified when she sent them over her unsecured home-brew server.
In a press release, JW noted the 756 pages of emails were not part of the 55,000 or so pages of documents she turned over to the State Department in 2014, which she led as secretary of state from 2010 to 2013, though at the time she told investigators that represented all of her work-related materials.
The organization noted that, in response to a court order in another of its cases, Clinton declared under penalty of perjury in 2015 that she had “directed that all my emails on clintonemail.com in my custody that were or are potentially federal records be provided to the Department of State, and on information and belief, this has been done.”
The press release noted further:
In 2017, the FBI uncovered 72,000 pages of documents Clinton attempted to delete or did not otherwise disclose. Until the court intervened and established a new deadline, the State Department had been slow-walking the release of those documents at a rate that would have required Judicial Watch and the American people to wait until at least 2020 to see all the releasable Clinton material. The production of documents in this case is now concluded with the FBI being only able to recover or find approximately 5,000 of the 33,000 government emails Hillary Clinton took and tried to destroy.
During a Friday morning appearance on WMAL, Fitton said that the classified emails contained in the new batch the organization just received “aren’t the emails that she turned over to the State Department.”
“This comes from the batch that she tried to destroy or otherwise hide,” he said. “It includes classified information about Israel, about Gaza, communications with [former British Prime Minister] Tony Blair, and it shows you just how outrageous it is that Hillary Clinton’s been able to get away with what she’s gotten away with as a result of the sham investigation by the FBI and the Justice Department.”
The emails include communications with long-time Clinton cohorts Sydney Blumenthal and Lanny Davis, the latter of whom served as former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s attorney, some of which were “extremely conspiratorial” and highly critical of Israel.
In addition, Fitton said the batch includes emails Clinton exchanged with employees of her and her husband’s foundation, which, the JW chief said, conflicts with the fact that she and others told Americans that “the Clinton Foundation had nothing to do with the State Department.”
Meanwhile, there are whispers of reports that a “day of reckoning” is approaching, perhaps as a result of investigations that have been quietly proceeding away from the spotlight.
Just last week, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) said that “criminal referrals” involving several Deep State players special counsel Robert Mueller has strangely “skipped over” were going to be made to Attorney General William Barr in the coming days.
“We’re still continuing to get to the bottom of what was happening to the Department of Justice and the FBI, trying to make sure that everyone there is held accountable…either through the courts or otherwise…. We’ll be making criminal referrals on a whole host of topics, most importantly probably lying and misleading Congress,” he said.
Nunes also pointed out that while Mueller has made a number of cases thus far, he’s “skipped a whole bunch of people who’ve lied or mislead Congress, so we’ll be making those referrals to the Department of Justice.”
