Dem civil WAR: Ocasio-Cortez chafes at Joe Biden for entering 2020 race; ‘Not interested in going backward’

By Jon Dougherty

The Democratic Party is undergoing seismic changes that are liable to tear it apart into warring factions, and just as the 2020 presidential election is approaching.

As you likely know, “Groper” Joe Biden threw his hat into the crowded Democratic presidential field on Thursday, making his bid official after weeks of speculation. Immediately, in what can only have been preplanned, Morning Consult/Politico released a poll showing Biden with an 8-point lead over POTUS Donald Trump.

But it’s not the poll’s incredible lead Biden allegedly has over Trump that upset the party’s far-Left faction; it’s that it shows Biden leading all other Democratic contenders as well, including socialist Bernie Sanders and other extremist Left-wing candidates.

That didn’t sit well with the face of Left-wing Democratic lunacy, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.). She trashed Biden and his candidacy during an interview Thursday, indicating that he is a throwback the party should not and cannot embrace.

Oh, and he’s too old and far too white, as well.

Biden’s candidacy “does not particularly animate me right now,” she told the “Skullduggery” podcast.

“I can understand why people would be excited by that, this idea that we can go back to the good ol’ days with Obama, with Obama’s vice president,” she continued. “I think, you know, there’s an emotional element to that. But I don’t want to go back. I want to go forward.”

Which, according to this media montage, is — for Democrats — younger, more Left-wing, far less white, and, of course, a woman.

The coming crack-up of the Democrat Party will be a thing of beauty to watch. Grab your popcorn.
