Graham: Mueller’s House testimony will ‘blow up’ in Democrats’ faces because his ‘conclusions won’t change’

By Jon Dougherty

(NationalSentinel) After former special counsel Robert Mueller turned in his report to Attorney General William Barr earlier this year concluding that POTUS Donald Trump did not ‘collude’ with Russia during the 2016 election and that he could not determine the president committed obstruction of justice when he fired FBI Director James Comey, Democrats demanded Mueller appear before their House committees to give them ‘answers.’

Well, they’re going to get their wish: Late Tuesday, news broke that Mueller has agreed to appear before the House next month, and already the discredited ‘mainstream’ media is salivating over what most of them believe will be ‘new’ and ‘damning revelations’ regarding POTUS Trump.

But sober minds and sound thinkers know better, and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) reminded Sean Hannity’s viewers Tueday night during an appearance on his program that “conclusions” are not going to change, no matter what, when Mueller appears to give testimony.

“This is going to blow up in [Democrats’] faces,” Graham told Hannity. “The conclusions can’t change. There is no collusion, that’s what the whole damned thing was about, to begin with. There’s nobody on earth that can bring an obstruction case based on these facts.

“The president gave 1.4 million documents to Mueller,” Graham continued. “[Don] McGahn, his lawyer, testified for 30 hours, [the president] made everybody available to Mueller that Mueller wanted to talk to, and he … answered questions in writing.

“So this president did nothing to stop Mueller from finding the truth,” said Graham.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) wrote on Twitter that Mueller had agreed to testify next month in response to a subpoena. He’ll appear in an open session, the New York Post reported.

“Americans have demanded to hear directly from the Special Counsel so they can understand what he and his team examined, uncovered, and determined about Russia’s attack on our democracy,” Nadler wrote in a statement.

In a letter to Mueller, Nadler and Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) wrote that they “understand that there are certain sensitivities associated with your open testimony. In particular, the Special Counsel’s Office referred several criminal investigations to other officers at the Department of Justice, and certain matters are ongoing.”

But they noted further, “the American public deserves to hear directly from you about your investigation and conclusions.”

“We will work with you to address legitimate concerns about preserving the integrity of your work, but we expect that you will appear before our Committees as scheduled,” they added.

Graham, meanwhile, noted that, as far as failing to ‘clear’ the president of obstruction, Barr specifically asked Mueller if he did not charge him due to a Justice Department policy stating that a sitting president cannot be indicted.

“Mueller said, ‘no,'” Graham added. “So after two years, and ‘X’ amount of dollars, and FBI agents, if he couldn’t decide on obstruction of justice, why do you think Barr would reach a different conclusion other than you can’t prosecute?”

Graham is a big talking loudmouth and does nothing.

He bragged repeatedly that he would call hearings, subpoena witnesses and get to the bottom of the scandals. He does nothing.
