Surgeon General Adams blasts hack media for politicizing coronavirus then schools them on how to do better

Whatever Americans DO know about coronavirus, they are largely learning about it on their own

By Tank Murdoch

(TNS) U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams took it to the “mainstream” media on Saturday for their blatant politicization of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, but also asked them to do better and even gave some advice on how they could accomplish it.

After President Donald Trump’s daily update on the government’s coronavirus response, Adams told the media to “hit the reset button” and stop prompting blatant partisanship and the politicization of coronavirus.

“Straight talk from the nation’s doctor: We really need you all to lean into and prioritize the health and safety of the American people,” Adams said.

“No more bickering, no more partisanship, no more criticism or finger-pointing,” he added.

“They’ll be plenty of time for that, but we all need to hit the reset button and lean into moving forward with the health and safety of the American people as our top priority,” he continued.

“More stories on how people can protect themselves, more people on — how people can get the resources that they need, that we’ve unleashed from the federal government, and state and local government, less stories looking at what happened in the past. Again, there’ll be time for that,” he noted further.

It was great — and necessary — advice, but will these jackals heed it? Not likely.

And do you know who else isn’t likely to heed Adams? Democrats in Congress. Democrats in capitals around the country. Democrats in governor’s mansions.

No one is saying that COVID-19 shouldn’t be taken seriously. While we personally don’t believe that this outbreak merits the sort of outsized response and declarations of emergency that have occurred, we also can’t say it won’t spread, get much worse, and create a lot more chaos.

But the problem is when nearly every single story about the virus circles back to criticism of the Trump administration — or worse yet, is only about criticism of the Trump administration’s response, then that’s not helpful and it’s no fulfilling the media’s primary role, which is to inform people, especially now during a time of supposed crisis.

Stories like this piece of crap from The Hill this morning are not at all helpful.

The entire story is built around criticisms of the Trump administration response from Sen. Patti Murray (D-Wash.), who takes every opportunity to bash Trump for anything and everything. So, of course, she’s going to be “angry and frustrated” over the coronavirus response, because no matter what the president does, she was going to complain about it.

Not only is this a non-story, but it misses a larger, more important point, such as this: If we’re handing out criticisms, then how come Murray escapes? The majority of coronavirus deaths have occurred in her state; doesn’t she bear any responsibility for a lack of ‘response’ in helping her constituents find the resources they need to ‘better prepare?’ What about state and local officials in Washington — where is her criticism of them?

The point is, the story wasn’t a “story” at all, it was propaganda garbage. And totally useless. It had no point and only one objective — to add to the cacophony of screeching at the president by Left-wing hacks and loser politicians whose biggest complaint is that they don’t have any real power right now.

It was just the kind of story that the surgeon general is advising against. But we won’t hold our breath, dear reader, and frankly, neither should you.

Time will tell. Better to prepare than panic. Use common sense, and stay away from crowds. I use rubbing alcohol on hands. My old doctor (housecall days) used to wash his hands up to his elbows with isopropyl alcohol before treating a patient. Kills germs, smells good and clean to me.

Yeah, the part at the end where you say the politicians attacking have no real power. It’s true, and they are all afraid of what our President and his team will uncover regarding their crimes.
It’s like all the Hollypedos screaming about President Trump —then you see their names on the PedoEpstein flight logs. That’s why they are screaming.

The nation’s doctor should ask the President to reverse the FDA’s ban on intravenous vitamin C as medicine. Because if you can cure 98% of people who actually get seriously sick from this virus, there’s no need to shut the nation down, no need to destroy the economy in the process, and no need for a vaccine. THIS, the issue of the ban on IV C by the FDA, is the real issue, and how much integrity the nation’s doctor has, will be judged by it. So far it’s looking very, very bad, because nothing has been said about intravenous… Read more »
