Fitton on Roger Stone: Rogue prosecutors tried to vindicate their own anti-Trump scam by going after ally

Stone's entire case came about because of Mueller's investigation, which found no evidence of collusion

(TNS) The president of legal watchdog group Judicial Watch, Tom Fitton, blasted the federal prosecutors who tried to railroad longtime GOP operative Roger Stone during an appearance on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Wednesday.

Agreeing with Carlson that the prosecution against Stone, a close ally of President Donald Trump, was “the most political” he’s ever seen, Fitton noted that the four prosecutors now being feted by the Left-wing press and Democrats who quit the case this week after the Justice Department intervened, were operating on their own agenda.

“It rises out of the Mueller investigation, which has been thoroughly compromised by not only the FISA but the political nature of the investigators, most of whom are Democrats or Democrat donors,” he said, in reference to earlier findings by the Justice Department inspector general that the FBI abused the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court in order to obtain illicit warrants to spy on 2016 Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

“You also have them investigating Trump for almost two years, knowing the underlying issue — Russia collusion — was a big scam and a big lie, they knew that from the get-go,” Fitton continued — a reference to the bogus “Russia dossier,” which was manufactured, paid for by the Clinton campaign, and used by James Comey’s FBI as legitimate ‘intelligence’ to justify the Page warrants.

“There is a scandal at the Justice Department [but] it has nothing to do with Bill Barr,” Fitton said of the current attorney general.

“It has everything to do with these prosecutors who are acting like their own little team, independent of the rule of law, to target President Trump, to try to vindicate the [special counsel Robert] Mueller scam and slap at Trump after his vindication by acquittal in the impeachment thing,” he added.

You may recall that the prosecutorial team had recommended a sentence of between seven and nine years for Stone, who was convicted on one count of lying to Congress — something ranking Obama administration intelligence officials did regularly — interfering with a House investigation into the Russian collusion hoax, and “witness tampering.”

The witness tampering allegation related to Stone’s ‘intimidation’ of talk radio host Randy Credico — who has essentially laughed off the allegation. He said, “I never in any way felt that Stone himself posed a physical threat to me or my dog.”

Trump called the recommendation a “disgrace.”

“The fact is that Roger Stone was treated horribly and so were many other people,” Trump said. “Their lives were destroyed.”

He added: “Roger Stone — nobody even knows what he did… Frankly, they ought to apologize to a lot of people whose lives they’ve ruined.”

As for the prosecutorial team, Fitton noted that at least two of them “were Mueller operatives” who obviously had an interest in slamming Stone in “pushing for a sentence that the law doesn’t require.”

They were trying to put Stone “in jail for an extra period of time, beyond what the law would require,” he added, “according to the Justice Department’s own filing.

Fox News noted:

Fitton said Stone’s entire case came about because of Mueller’s investigation, which found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian officials, and which Fitton said was “compromised” by the FISA abuse scandal and the “political nature” with which the ex-FBI director’s probe was executed. Fitton also noted that two of the four prosecutors who withdrew from the Stone case — Aaron Zelinsky and Jonathan Kravis — after the Justice Department filed for a reduced sentence are linked to the Mueller investigation.

I include Fitton in my prayers every night. Same with President Trump, Rudy G., William B., John D., Devin N.

All of ’em need our prayers. Protection against deep state assassins. Shits about to get real. Watch for more suicides/homicides.

Trump should simply do what Bill Clinton did and let all of those people in jail because of Obama attorneys and judges get an “out of jail free” card. Also, he should order Barr to begin an investigation into Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi and Jerry Nadler for what they did to Trump for no reason whatsoever. Then, make sure that Joe and Hunter Biden pay the Piper for all of their crimes in Europe. It is time to begin the cleansing of D.C. unless!

Show me
Show me

So the Justice Dept. run by Lynch and later the Mueller investigation would throw innocent people in jail like Flynn and Stone, all the while letting criminals like Hillary and go free.
They even infected the Chicago prosecutor’s office where Foxx let Smollett go free rather than prosecuting his hoax hate crimes. Seems the Democrats are pedaling hoaxes while putting Republicans in jail. Accountability!

Stomp them Out Once and for All

You all need to check out the Jury Foreperson for this trial OMG !
You have to see her to believe it - There will be no doubt that she intimidated the rest of the jury. I suspect that she conspired with the Prosecution.
… and what’s with the Judge in this case ? I’ve heard of incompetent, but she takes the cake…unless, of course, she conspired as well.
OMG ” draining the swamp ” has become a more dangerous term.

4 More or No Justice !

Jury Tampering by the Swamp itself !
