‘Former’ President Donald Trump made a worrisome prediction that only compounds Joe Biden’s Afghanistan pullout disaster.
In an interview with Sharyl Attkisson for her 'Full Measure' program that aired Sunday, Trump said the sophisticated weaponry the U.S. supplied to the now-defunct Afghan National Army is going to be given to our enemies, Russia and China, by the ruling Taliban government. And of course, the sensitive technology within that equipment.
The New York Post has more:
Former President Donald Trump is warning that the massive stockpile of US weapons abandoned by the Biden administration in Afghanistan and seized by the Taliban will likely end up in the hands of Russia and China to be reverse engineered — blasting the withdrawal as 'the most embarrassing event in the history of our country.'
'It's the most incompetently handled withdrawal in history,' Trump [said]…
'There's never been anything like this, where we gave them $85 billion worth of brand new, beautiful equipment,' he said of the weapons and aircraft that the Islamic militants have repeatedly gloated about now controlling.
'And I guarantee that China and Russia already have our Apache helicopters and they're taking them apart to find out exactly how they're made,' he said of the seized craft.
'They're the best in the world by far. And they're taking them apart so they can make the exact same equipment,' he warned of the advanced US war machinery.
'They're very good at that. It's a disgrace,' insisted Trump in the interview with Sharyl Attkisson from his golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey.
Trump also said that while he also wanted to withdraw, his plan was much more secure and he wouldn’t have left a damned thing behind for the Taliban.
'We should have taken out all our equipment, everything. And I said, 'I want every bolt. I want every screw. I want every nail. I want everything. I want those tanks,’' he said.
Who doubts him, other than mind-addled haters?
Biden's inflation is GETTING WORSE by the month...
Around the world, supply chains continue to be disrupted. Delays are now commonplace. And they're going to get worse.
There IS a financial reset coming - that's just true. All the signs indicate as much.
