Who would have ever guessed that an unimpressive, consistently angry Communist from Vermont would lead a Marxist/socialist takeover of the greatest country that ever existed?
But Sen. Bernie Sanders is on the cusp of achieving just that.
For decades this Commie has pretended to be an “Independent” who merely caucuses with Democrats because he knew if he told voters he was an out-and-out ideological soulmate of the former Soviet Union, Mao’s China, and the Castro Brothers’ Cuba, he would never have made it past his first congressional election.
Today, however, it wouldn’t matter much if Sanders finally worked up the gonads to actually tell his constituents that he’s always been a hardline supporter of Marxist/Socialist systems and regimes because more registered Democrats are into them as well than they are living under the capitalist society that enables them to have the things they cherish (like food, a roof over their heads, cellphones, their own cars, a job, etc. — all things most people living under Marxism/socialism don’t have).
Fox News reports:
A new Fox News poll showed that more Democrats favor socialism over capitalism, in a sharp reversal from just a year and a half ago.
The poll, taken between Aug. 7-10, showed that 59% of registered Democratic voters who participated had a positive view of socialism, compared to just 49% who felt that way about capitalism.
In February 2020, when the question was last asked, 50% of Democrats who participated said they had a favorable view of capitalism, with just 40% saying the same about socialism.
The poll showed that 44% of Democrats had an unfavorable view of capitalism, and 31% had a negative view of socialism.
Of the Republicans polled, 67% viewed capitalism favorably, and 8% had a favorable view of socialism.
We need to be absolutely crystal clear here: Capitalism and socialism cannot co-exist.
Both of these economic and political models are diametrically opposed to one another. And to that point, Marxism/socialism are not just the destroyers of capitalism, but the destroyers of nations.
China being an exception, but where China may be rising in terms of economic prowess, its people exist under one of the most authoritarian regimes on the planet.
Maybe a better question for all of these Democrats who think socialism is better would be: “Would you trade your freedoms and liberties for it?”
Anyway, what we’re seeing in terms of attitudinal changes stems from decades of pushing Marxism and socialism in our public and higher education systems.
That effort is now paying off, and the country will suffer for it. Hide and watch.
