Republicans are beginning to respond to their constituents and are finally getting serious about shutting off the spigot of illegal immigrants flowing into the country, including those with COVID-19, before Biden and his merry band of Marxists completely change the makeup of our country.
The initial salvo has been fired, in fact, by Rep. Andy Biggs of Arizona.
USA Features News reports:
A leading Republican lawmaker has filed articles of impeachment against Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas after accusing him of endangering the country with extremely lax immigration policies. …
The impeachment resolution contains two articles against the DHS secretary.
The first accused Mayorkas of having 'engaged in a pattern of conduct that is incompatible with his duties as an Officer of the United States.'
'Secretary Mayorkas has failed to faithfully uphold his oath and has instead presided over a reckless abandonment of border security and immigration enforcement, at the expense of the Constitution and the security of the United States,' it adds.
The articles also accuse Mayorkas of failing to maintain 'operational control' of the border as he is required by law to do.
They come as more than 1 million people have crossed illegally into the U.S. this year, according to various reports. The Biden administration has reportedly released hundreds of thousands into the U.S. to await their immigration or asylum hearing, with tens of thousands of those migrants having tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
Of course, with Democrats in control of Congress, these articles have a snowball’s chance in hell of actually leading to Mayorkas’ impeachment.
But there are a growing number of congressional Democrats, particularly those from border states and border regions in those border states whose constituents are beyond fed up with the illegal immigrant invasion.
Not only that, but illegal immigration has always been opposed by the vast majority of Americans on both sides of the aisle, so the regime is hurting Democratic reelection chances in 2022 a little more with each new alien allowed into the country illegally.
Biggs is serious about this effort, though, and frankly, more lawmakers should be.
'This is not because of his personality, not because of his partisanship,' Biggs told Fox News. 'I don't care about that. What this is about is he is enacting bad policy.'
Biden's inflation is GETTING WORSE by the month...
Around the world, supply chains continue to be disrupted. Delays are now commonplace. And they're going to get worse.
There IS a financial reset coming - that's just true. All the signs indicate as much.
