Democrats are trying everything within their power to stop an audit of 2.1 million ballots cast in Maricopa County, Arizona, during the 2020 election.
They even sued, though it failed this week after the state party couldn’t come up with a million bucks to compensate the audit effort.
So now, Democrats and their allies in the garbage media are trying to discredit the audit, the auditing firm, and the Republicans behind the audit.
Those GOP folks are crazy conspiracy theorists, don’t you know.
At least, that’s what Greg Burton, the executive editor of the Arizona Republic, one of the state’s largest newspapers, says.
Because you know, the media is always so truthful and honest.
'It's clear this audit has been bought and sold by hyper partisans intent on sowing doubt,” Burton said in a Republic report on the alleged media blackout. “Senate leaders have throttled legitimate press access and handed Arizona's votes to conspiracy theorists.'
His biography on the Arizona Republic’s website also lists him as “a regional editor for USA TODAY in the West, leading newsrooms in Washington, Oregon, Montana, Nevada, Utah, California and Arizona.”
So he’s not just biased in Arizona; his left-wing mania taints much of the West.
Here’s the thing to remember: If Democrats are so confident that there was no widespread vote fraud in the state during the 2020 election, they would be welcoming an audit to prove their point.
But they aren’t welcoming this audit…they’re trying to stop it and discredit it.
Innocent people don’t do that.
