Maxine Waters is a terrible human being.
Hey, the truth hurts. Or in this case, the truth sucks. Because the things that woman says and does to keep our country divided along racial and political lines sucks.
If you disagree, don’t call us racists because this criticism has nothing to do with the color of Waters’ skin.
It has everything to do with the content of her character.
Waters took her elderly behind to Minnesota this week as the Derek Chauvin case wrapped up and was set to go to the jury.
Waters took the occasion to gaslight an already volatile situation — pouring fuel on a simmering fire set to blow up if the ‘wrong’ verdict is handed down in the death of George Floyd.
'We've got to stay on the street, and we've got to get more active, we've got to get more confrontational,' she said, as shown on Unicorn Riot video. 'We've got to make sure that they know that we mean business.'
Waters added, 'We're looking for a guilty verdict. We're looking to see if all of the talk that took place, and has been taking place after they saw what happened to George Floyd, if nothing does happen, then we know that we've got to not only stay in the street, but we've got to fight for justice. But I am very hopeful, and I hope that we're going to get a verdict that is saying guilty, guilty, guilty, and if we don't, we cannot go away.'
Frankly, this woman came a helluva lot closer to inciting an insurrection than Donald Trump ever did. She should be charged.
So outrageous were her comments that Chauvin’s lawyer, Eric Nelson, asked the judge in the case, Peter Cahill, to declare a mistrial.
He wouldn’t do that on Monday, but he did have come choice words for the gaslighting idiot Democrat from California:
I'll give you that Congresswoman Waters may have given you something on appeal that may result in this whole trial being overturned… I'm aware of the media reports, I'm aware that Congresswoman Waters was talking specifically about this trial, and about the unacceptability of anything less than a murder conviction, talked about being confrontational — but you can submit the press articles about that. This goes back to what I've been saying from the beginning. I wish elected officials would stop talking about this case, especially in a manner that is disrespectful to the rule of law,, and to the judicial branch and our function. I think if they want to give their opinions, they should do so in a respectful, and in a manner that is respectful to the Constitution, to respect the co-equal branch of government. Their failure to do so, I think, is abhorrent, but I don't think it has prejudiced this, with additional material that would prejudice this jury. … A congresswoman's opinion really doesn't matter a whole lot.
Or does it?
Then why did she offer it?
This sucks bad. And Maxine Waters is a disgrace.
Though Nancy Pelosi is really no better for saying Waters has nothing to apologize for.
The Garbage Party, that’s what the Democrats stand are.
