Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis is doing everything right when it comes to COVID-19 responses and pushing back against the Stalinist Democrats and their state media propagandists to reopen his state.
That much is obvious because he has been relentlessly targeted by the hacks, losers, and fools who pretend to be ‘objective’ journalists.
He was attacked again over the weekend, this time by the liars at “60 Minutes.”
According to reports, one segment of Sunday’s show accused DeSantis of a “pay-to-pay” scheme to ‘reward’ grocery chain Publix with a COVID-19 vaccine distribution award after the company donated $100k to a DeSantis-linked PAC.
The DeSantis 60 minutes piece was one of the more blatant political hatchet jobs in the past couple years and that's saying something. Selectively editing videos and omitting evidence just to conjure up a predetermined narrative isn't journalism, it's tabloid fodder.

Only, that’s completely false; DeSantis and his state health officials used Publix locations after consultations with state and local officials who decided those locations would be best because they are closest to Florida residents most at risk for the virus and most in need of a vaccine.
And none other than the Democratic mayor of Palm Beach County said so after blasting CBS and 60 Minutes for lying their a**es off and selectively editing DeSantis during a press conference.
“What you’re saying is wrong,” Gov DeSantis tells Sharyn Alfonsi in response to a question about whether the Publix grocery store chain gained influence through a campaign donation on his behalf. “It’s wrong. It’s a fake narrative,” he says. https://t.co/gyrW9hYPTg pic.twitter.com/5rBq7v5VOA

'The reporting was not just based on bad information — it was intentionally false,' Dave Kerner said in a statement on Monday. 'I know this because I offered to provide my insight into Palm Beach County's vaccination efforts but 60 Minutes declined.
'They know that the Governor came to Paul Beach County and met with me and the County Administrator and we asked to expand the state's partnership with Publix to Palm Beach County,' Kerner explained further.
'We also discussed our own local plans to expand mass vaccinations [sic] centers throughout the county, which the Governor has been incredibly supporting,' he continued. 'They had that information, and they left it out because it kneecaps their narrative.'
Oh boy. Democrat mayor of Palm Beach County says 60 Minutes' "reporting was not just based on bad information — it was intentionally false." Says he offered to refute 60 Minutes' half-cooked conspiracy theory based on personal knowledge and "60 Minutes declined." pic.twitter.com/yJ9aRa6RMy

He added that he and his staff and residents of the county had dealt with the pandemic for more than a year already and that 'residents, like all Americans, are tired,' Kerner said, adding that 'the media is making it worse.'
'They are hellbent on dividing us for cheap views and clicks. 60 Minutes should be ashamed,' he added.
'I think the Governor for supporting the residents of Palm Beach County. Because of his efforts, working in coordination with [county] officials, over 275,000 seniors in our county — which is over 75 percent. of the total senior population — have been vaccinated,' said Kerner. 'I am proud of how our county and state leadership have executed on this important mission, and the results speak for themselves.'
CBS, like the rest of the ‘mainstream’ media, is nothing but propaganda and garbage. For God’s sake, turn those people off.
