There are patriots in D.C. …
As results continue to stream in from Georgia’s two run-off elections, things don’t look good for our republic.
Far-left Democratic kook and alleged wife beater Raphael Warnock’s race against GOP incumbent Sen. Kelly Loeffler has already been called for him.
And the other GOP incumbent, Sen. David Perdue, is, at this hour, behind China Boy Democrat Jon Ossoff.
But alas, Americans concerned about what direction Democrats will take America if they indeed take control over all apparatuses of government can be comforted by the fact that at least a handful of patriots in Washington objected to the massive vote rigging that took place in November.
Led by Sens. Ted Cruz (Texas), Marsha Blackburn (Tenn.), and Josh Hawley, 11 Republicans in the upper chamber will join more than 100 House Republicans in objecting to slates of electors from states where the vote rigging occurred.
And here’s the thing: Most Republican voters reject Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Ben Sasse, and the GOP surrender caucus and support the Cruz-led effort, according to Rasmussen Reports.
In a new poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports, 73% of Republican likely voters support the Senators challenging Joe Biden's election.
Meanwhile, 75% of Democrat likely voters oppose the effort, according to the poll.
Over a dozen senators are set to contest the results over allegations of voter fraud.
The list of challengers in the Senate includes Republican Sens. Ted Cruz, TX, Josh Hawley, MO, Kelly Loeffler, GA, Roger Marshall, KS, Ron Johnson, WI, James Lankford, OK, Steve Daines, MT, John Kennedy, LA, Marsha Blackburn, TN, Mike Braun, IN, Cynthia Lummis, WY, Roger Marshall, KS, Bill Hagerty, and TN, Tommy Tuberville, AL.
The effort isn’t likely to succeed, mind you, because the Democratic Party is corrupt to the core and its members care about power, period, not the Constitution they lied about upholding.
But the fact that these lawmakers refuse to simply allow the steal to occur without standing to oppose it says a lot about them — and that fact that there is hope for the future of our republic.
In whatever form our true republic will take in the future.
