Joe Biden and Kamala Harris continue to generate such enthusiasm but campaign officials have to limit crowd sizes and place socially distanced circles on the ground for people stand in because we don’t want to spread that danged COVID virus.

At least, that’s the lie we’re being asked to believe by national and local media.

Jasmine Wright, a CNN embed with Harris, made that very excuse following a very sparsely-attended campaign event the California senator held in North Carolina Tuesday.

And by ‘sparse,’ we mean nearly no one was there.

A crowd of about 25 waits for @KamalaHarris and the program to start at University of North Carolina-Asheville, in front of a pretty scenic vista. Folks are separated by social distance circles and x toe marks,” she wrote in one tweet.

Later, Wright tweeted a short video clip of the pathetic ‘crowd’ with this post, “A good look at campaigning during a deadly respiratory pandemic: @KamalaHarris steps down off stage to socially distant greet folks, her detail quickly hands her a black mask before she gets to close, then Harris proceeds to bump elbows and take a socially distant selfie.”

Got that? No one is showing up for her (or Biden’s) events because of the ‘Rona, not because they would rather watch paint dry or grass grow instead of go see her.

Mind you, Biden is feeble and Harris was so unliked by Democratic voters she was one of the first candidates to drop out of a very crowded field of Democratic contenders.

In fact, there might have been more Democratic presidential contenders then attendees at most of Biden’s and Harris’ campaign events.

And this is the ticket that is supposedly leading by double digits over the most dynamic man in the past 10 presidential elections?
