House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has proven once again that Democrats like her (and they nearly all are like her) don’t believe they have to abide or live by the same rules they impose on everyone else.

The California Democrat regularly uses her Catholic faith as some sort of moral crutch — all why supporting abortion on demand, being a massive hypocrite, and generally a lousy person.

So forgive us if we don’t quite believe she’s a ‘born again’ Christian living the Lord’s word.

Indeed, the fact that she admitted recently to attending Mass in San Francisco while the rest of the state’s churches were locked up thanks to Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom’s order (while Walmarts and grocery stores remained open because COVID doesn’t spread in those places) is proof she believes she is ‘otherworldly’ in that she doesn’t have to follow the rules set for everyone else.

Catholic New Agency reports:

After San Francisco's archbishop called on the city to reopen churches for indoor Masses, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said he should listen to the 'science,' but admitted she had recently attended a church service in the city, possibly in violation of public health orders.

'With all due respect to my archbishop, I think we should follow science on this,' Pelosi told reporters at a press conference at the U.S. Capitol on Friday.

'I don’t know if [San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone] was speaking as our pastor or as a lobbyist—advocate. But whatever it is, I am sure that he must have meant [reopen churches] if it is scientifically safe, rather than jeopardizing people's health if they want to go to Church,' she added. …

Later in the story:

The congresswoman said that she had attended church in San Francisco 'recently, and I did receive Communion.' She noted that she had to sign up in advance to do so, and 'there were probably 12 people' in attendance, observing social distance, in a church that fit around 250 people.

San Francisco’s guidance for gatherings currently says that only one person at a time is allowed inside a church “for prayer, individual counseling, to pick up, or drop off items.”

This comes after Pelosi visited a hair salon earlier this month in San Fran, though hair salons have long been deemed ‘non-essential’ and ordered shuttered (oh, and she wasn’t wearing a mask, either, like ‘the science’ says to).

We’re not Biblical or Catholic experts here, but we’re pretty sure God isn’t a big fan of elitism or hypocrisy.
