Domestic terrorists posing as ‘protesters’ showed up outside the D.C. residence of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) Thursday to demand more ‘free’ government money disguised as “coronavirus relief.”
But in reality, they should have been demonstrating outside of Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer’s residence, because Democrats are responsible for no new coronavirus relief measures being passed in the upper chamber.
Under Senate rules, it takes 60 votes to approve most legislation.
Republicans only have a 53-47 majority, so do the math.
As for the free money demand, well, it’s ‘required,’ you see, because ‘social justice…’ Or something like that.
Black Lives Matter demonstrators converged on Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s home on Thursday after Democrats shut down a $500 billion coronavirus relief package.
A crowd of protesters bearing signs and wearing T-shirts showed up at McConnell’s Washington, D.C., house shortly after the package failed, demanding money.
“If we don’t get $600 — no peace!” the protesters repeatedly shouted. “I said if we don’t get $600 — no peace! No healthcare — no peace!”
Other demonstrators shouted, “I can’t breathe!” and “Black lives matter!”
One activist with a bullhorn added, “I need that money, and until I get that money, I’m going to be right here on C Street every day until I get it!”
Wow — attaining ‘peace and justice’ only cost $600?
By all means, though, continue showing up outside the home of the man least responsible for the delays in coronavirus funds when you could be spending your time finding and working a job.
So you can make a lot more than $600.
