Conservative talk radio behemoth Rush Limbaugh uttered a truth during his Thursday program that is painful, impactful, and maybe even a little bit frightening: The American Right and Left are at a point in our history where political differences are irreconcilable.
As he kicked off a segment, Limbaugh referenced a tweet from The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway, in which she quoted a friend who notes that President Donald Trump was not elected to ‘unify’ the country.
Of “Trump’s not a uniter!” talking point, a smart woman I know writes: “Trump wasn’t elected to unify. He is clarifying the divisions. It’s painful but may be necessary. But we are definitely not in a unifying chapter of American history.”

For his part, Limbaugh said, “Let me add a ‘Bingo!'”
Trump, unify? That… Trump was not elected to unify anything. The people that elected Donald Trump are fed up with the Democrat Party!
They are fed up with the American left, and they are fed up with the policies of the Democrat Party that are injurious and harmful to vast majority of the American middle class. They're tired of sanctuary cities. They're tired of open borders. They're tired of criminals getting away with it. They've done everything they can to try to heal racial divisions.
Nothing seems to matter. Nothing seems to work. I mean, all you needed to know is that Trump's campaign slogan was 'controversial.' Make America Great Again? How in the hell can that be controversial? Well, it is, and that's all you really need to know about today's Democrat Party. Making America great again? Those are fighting words — and guess what?
Even back in 2015 and 2016 when Trump came up with the slogan, guess what they said that it was? 'Make America Great Again is racism! Yeeeah. 'Make America Great Again' is a bunch of white people wanting their power back. 'Make America Great Again' is simply, 'Let's go back to Ozzie and Harriet. Let's go back to the fifties. Let's go back to where we ran the show and nobody could stop us.’'
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Limbaugh added that Americans who support Trump and especially his 2016 campaign slogan of “Make America Great Again” want the country to be great for everyone not just some people and certainly not just white people. Because the country does best when everyone does well.
“The rank-and-file of the Democrat Party, the base voters, they may not know it. They have been so mal-educated and ill-educated,” the host continued.
“They believe all this racist crap that has been promulgated and propagandized to them their whole lives. But nothing could be further from the truth. You want a great country because that's where great opportunity is found. Everybody doing well or trying to is how the country grows. How did we become a superpower?” Limbaugh added.
As to the ‘unify’ message, Limbaugh pointed to all of the deep state hacks and Obama-era officials who attempted to depose Trump simply because he vowed to drain the swamp and bring real equality and justice to all.
“How in the world is he supposed to unify with that?” Limbaugh asked.
President Trump is Breaking Down the Neck of the Federal Reserve!
He wants zero rates and QE4!
You must prepare for the financial reset
