(TNS) Tens of millions of Americans believe they don’t see enough of First Lady Melania Trump, the president’s lovely, elegant, better half, but that’s about to change.
The White House announced Wednesday that Melania will has joined U.S. health officials in producing a series of public service announcements regarding the Wuhan coronavirus to “communicate the most important ways Americans can protect themselves and those most at risk.â€

Joining the First Lady are several U.S. health officials who have become household names in recent weeks from their appearances on news programs and to update the country about the virus’ spread. They includingÂ Surgeon General Jerome Adams, infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci, and Dr. Deborah Birx, who is the coordinator of the coronavirus task force.
Melania has already undertaken a role in helping to spread the word about how best to protect yourself from the contagion, mostly through social media.
â€œConsider taking advantage of time working from home to connect with your loved ones via email or FaceTime, spend time w family, or work on your well-being by reading a book or spending time on a hobby,â€ the First Lady tweeted Wednesday.

Melania has already been hard at work promoting her “Be Best” campaign, which seeks to help children. As CNN has reported, one of the pillars of that campaign is helping children.
â€œI think this would be a great time to remind Americans about the â€˜Be Bestâ€™ campaign,â€ said Katherine Jellison, an Ohio University professor and expert on First Ladies. â€œShe could remind the public, especially youngsters, that in times of stress, kind words to one another are a national duty. Especially at a time when family members are by necessity spending more time with one another, the best thing that everyone can do is be nice to one another.â€

And while there are still plenty of pinheads and haters out there who denigrate and mock everything good the First Lady does for our country, there are far more who appreciate her work and will be glad to see more of her as she takes an active role assisting those who are trying to keep us safe.
