(TNS) Earlier this week, Sidney Powell, lawyer extraordinaire for retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, President Trump’s first national security adviser, went to federal court to withdraw her client’s guilty plea.
Flynn, as we recounted this week, copped a plea to the process crime of “lying” to an FBI agent when he didn’t even know he was being interrogated as part of the Spygate coup attempt launched against his boss by the Obama regime.

The former national security adviser copped his plea in late 2017 as Robert Mueller’s Democrat-donating prosecutors closed in on him and threatened him with lots of jail time and financial ruination if he didn’t cooperate.
Well, by all accounts, Flynn was cooperating, which is why, most likely, he sentencing has been delayed for going on two years. But after the rogues inside the Justice Department changed the rules of their prior arrangement with Flynn and tried to force him to lie about his former business partner, the retired three-star said hell, no.
And so, the DoJ rogues tried to charge him with violating his agreement and were recommending jail time for him when they initially promised they would not seek any.
As such, Powell moved to vacate his initial guilty plea, which has caused the federal court involved in this case to further delay Flynn’s sentencing while things get sorted out.
Fox News reported:
Flynn originally was scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 28 in a D.C. federal court, but Judge Emmet Sullivan bumped the date back to Feb. 27 after the latest development. If Sullivan ultimately allows Flynn to withdraw his guilty plea, the sentencing likely would be abandoned and the case could head to trial.
Flynn’s move on Tuesday to withdraw his guilty plea came just days after the Justice Department reversed course to recommend up to six months of prison time in his case, alleging he was not fully cooperating or accepting responsibility for his actions.
Over the course of the past few years, though, it’s become painfully obvious to any fair-minded individual that Flynn not only isn’t guilty of any crime, despite his Mueller case plea, but he was victimized by a system he once served because he dared to choose Trump over them.
As per Sara A. Carter, Powell stated in the most recent motion that Flynn “hereby moves to withdraw his plea because of the government’s bad faith, vindictiveness, and breach of the plea agreement.â€
In November, 2017 Flynn, who had pled guilty to making a false statement to the FBI, signed a plea agreement with the government that, “so long as Gen. Flynn met the terms of cooperation set forth in the plea—which required TRUTHFUL testimony—the government would file a departure motion with the court,†said Powell in a statement given to Carter.
“It’s been one atrocity after another,” Powell said on Fox News’ “Hannity” Tuesday evening. “The recent sentencing note is full of lies.”
Barack Obama may not have corrupted the FBI and Justice Department, but he sure utilized its corrupt elements to his advantage and that of his Garbage Party, the fallout of which is still playing out regarding President Trump’s bogus impeachment trial upcoming next week.
