(TNS) As Iran rained missiles down on a U.S.-occupied base in Iraq overnight, talk radio giant Mark Levin blasted the “mainstream” media for looping images and video of the attack provided by a state-run Iran media outlet, Fars News Agency.

Noting — correctly — that by utilizing Iran-supplied footage the American media was giving Tehran a huge propaganda victory, Levin blasted the Left-wing sycophants for hating President Trump to the point of undermining their own country.

“What’s come to the fore here is a complete lack of morality in the media and in the Democrat party,” Levin said.

“These are not people, for the most part, who care about humanity,” Levin went on. “They care about power, they care about self-aggrandizement, but they really don’t care about humanity.”

“They don’t love this country; they don’t even comprehend this country,” the host continued. “They have no understanding of this country, so they trash it and they attack it.”

Levin went on to remind listeners of the American media’s downplay of the Holocaust during World War II, which is outlined in his book “Unfreedom of the Press,” saying that “these are the same forces at work today.”

“Our media lacks morality; it lacks virtue,” Levin said. “This is why it stands up for a mass murdering terrorist like Soleimani and tries to destroy a patriotic commander in chief like Donald Trump.”

“They have no morality,” the host concluded. “They do not like this country — and they never have.”

Indeed, as reported by NewsBusters, the major U.S. TV networks have been providing Iranian officials with plenty of airtime, even deferring to them over U.S. officials:

CNN International and PBS host Christiane Amanpour opened Tuesday’s joint program (airing live in the afternoon on the former then late-night on PBS) with two interviews in which she couldn’t have been more stark, going softer on an Iranian vice president than U.S. Secretary of Defense Mark Esper. In other words, it was par for the course with Amanpour.

Amanpour led with Esper and first stated that CNN sources were arguing that the justification to strike Soleimani based on a threat to American forces “may be razor thin and the chatter was nothing out of the ordinary.”

She then demanded that he look to “the world down the barrel of this camera straight in the eye and say that there was a ticking time bomb evidence.”

As he would do repeatedly throughout the interview, Esper schooled the liberal host, telling her “that it’s more than razor thin, and it’s persuasive” with Solemani looking “to synchronize and plan additional attacks on American forces, diplomats or facilities.”

Her second question poured on the fluff for Iran, stating that there’s “not just an outpouring of grief from the people there and rallying around a regime that had been unpopular, but that it’s also a message” that they’ll retaliate.

Absolutely pathetic. And worse, American taxpayers shell out hundreds of millions per yet to fund PBS, which is no different than the major mainstream networks.

More from NewsBusters:

Amanpour pivoted to Iranian VP for women and family affairs Massoumeh Ebtekar and failed to note to viewers that she was a spokeswoman for the 1979 hostage-takers during the Iranian revolution that seized 52 Americans.

Her first question was simply wondering whether Iran would “respond” to American “call[s] for descalation.” Ebtekar took that question and offered a long-winded answer that gushed over CNN showing “millions who are marching in support and in commemoration of…the Commander of the Hearts” against the Americans having “taken a terrorist action” in “assassinat[ing]” Soleimani.

She added that the Trump administration’s sanctions were also “a terrorist action” robbing children of medicine.

Amanpour eventually got another question in, trumpeting the “outpouring on the streets” and noting she found it “interesting” that Ebtekar dubbed it a “revival of the Islamic revolution.”

Pure propaganda. The reason why the crowds are so large in Iran is because people there are forced to flood the streets or suffer consequences. Recall, it’s not a democracy; it’s an authoritarian regime. Do what the regime says or pay the price — with your freedom or your life.

And where was CNN and Amanpour when tens of thousands of Iranians took to the streets in opposition of the regime in November?

It wasn’t just CNN; MSNBC was in on the America hate/Iran lovefest as well. So was ABC News.

The fact is, Levin is 100 percent correct: Our media is in the tank for anyone and any nation who not only opposes Trump but opposes anyone who touts an ‘America first’ foreign policy.

Trump has called these losers “enemies of the people,” and they are proving him correct — again.
