(TNS) We think we have figured out why MSNBC doesn’t really have much of an audience: It’s because the ‘journalists’ who work there live in an alternative reality.

While blaming everyone else, especially supporters of President Donald Trump, of living in an alternative reality…created by an alternative news network…Fox News.

During a Tuesday discussion as to why the national needle has not moved in favor of impeaching the president, host Chris Matthews and co-host Stephanie Ruhle blame that not on the fact that Trump hasn’t committed any crimes but because there is a competitor who manages to capture a helluva lot more eyeballs than them.

For the liberal national media, an unofficial part of any job title must include attacking Fox News in an either occasional or permanent capacity for all that ills America. The task fell to MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle and Chris Matthews on Tuesday afternoon as the pair blamed FNC for the lack of overwhelming public support for impeaching and removing President Trump from office. …

Instead of looking inward, Ruhle replied that “what is new is the way news is consumed” before fretting that “[t]he poll numbers aren’t changing and we can say, ‘hasn’t anybody watched these impeachment hearings over the last two weeks?’”

Right on cue, Matthews interjected: “Well, there was no Fox back then. There was no Fox.” …

“I think you need a medium to fight your case. And the Republican right-wingers found one, it’s called Fox. It’s smart, they got one. Roger Ailes gave it to them,” Matthews added.

As the segment wound down, Ruhle wondered: “Would Richard Nixon have had a different outcome had Fox News existed?”

President Richard Nixon actually committed crimes, as did President Bill Clinton. Trump…hasn’t.

And that’s the reality these schmucks at MSNBC refuse to acknowledge.

Yeah, they’re blaming “Fox News” because that’s what the Left-wing national media does, but deep down what really animates and aggravates them is that they don’t have the firepower anymore to dislodge a president or take down anyone they like whenever they like.

Because fewer and fewer Americans believe them after they’ve lied to us for years.

In MSNBC’s case, host after conspiratorial host lied for two years when they incessantly pushed the “Russian collusion” hoax, as did CNN.

They were already shedding audience, but after the Robert Mueller report blew that hoax completely out of the water, MSNBC tanked even further.

There are two realities in America today, that’s for sure: The real world most of us live in and the fantasyland of MSNBC, where Trump hate ‘trumps’ facts.
