(NationalSentinel) Last week, Democratic Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York caused yet another controversy when she claimed after a visit to a migrant detention facility that Border Patrol and CPB officials were forcing some migrants to drink “toilet water.”

She doubled down on that claim on our nation’s birthday in a tweet that also claims other “members of Congress” can “corroborate” her statements.

Ocasio-Cortez also claimed that “there’s abuse in these facilities” and that she felt sexually threatened by some agents as well.

CBP Arizona has published a video via Twitter refuting nearly all of her claims, showing viewers just what the facilities are like, all of the supplies available to illegal alien migrants of all ages, and mostly, that they do not have to drink “toilet water” because detention rooms come complete with bathroom/sink combos and multi-gallon jugs of fresh water.

Here’s the video:

Mind you, videos can be staged and can be shot in such a way as to tell a version of any story.

But then, AOC knows that, too: She staged photos at an alleged migrant detention facility last summer before being elected to Congress.

There is also this: While federal agents are not immune to corruption and even illegal actions (as we’ve seen with Obama-era Deep State officials with the FBI and Justice Department), if migrant detention facilities really were as horrid, squalid, and nightmarish as Ocasio-Cortez and some Democrats are claiming, why are migrants still flocking to America when they know that’s where they’re going to end up, at least temporarily?

Besides, Ocasio-Cortez has a history of embellishing things, not the U.S. Border Patrol.

One more thing: As you watch the video above, think about all of the USBP agents working in detention facilities who are not on the front lines along the border conducting enforcement and interdiction.

That’s something Ocasio-Cortez has never mentioned — that, and appealing to migrants not to come in the first place so they don’t subject themselves to such ‘abuse.’
