(NationalSentinel) The lawyer for independent journalist Andy Ngo, who was allegedly beaten up and robbed by antifa members while covering a protest in Portland, Ore., on Saturday, says those responsible for the attack are going to face maximum legal repercussions.

“Goodnight everyone except Antifa criminals who I plan to sue into oblivion and then sow salt into their yoga studios and avocado toast stands until nothing grows there, not even the glimmer of a violent criminal conspiracy aided by the effete impotence of a cowed city government,” Harmeet Dhillon wrote on Twitter.

After Ngo was admitted to a local hospital following the attack with a brain bleed, Dhillon took to Twitter as well to admonish those on the Left who praised the attacks.

“You sick ‘journalists’ and other hacks gloating about this should be ashamed. As for the rest, please pray for [Ngo] who we need back in health — brave man!”

After Ngo was released, she noted further, “He’ll have more to say in coming days about what happened to him & others yesterday in Portland. He is very thankful for the overwhelming support from decent people especially @michellemalkin & donors.”

Conservative entrepreneur, author, and columnist Michelle Malkin started a GoFundMe campaign for Ngo to help cover his medical (and legal?) expenses.

The page notes,”Lovers of liberty and supporters of independent media, [m]y friend, Portland, Oregon-based journalist Andy Ngo, was beaten and robbed today by Antifa while covering the latest paroxysms of left-wing violence.”

“Andy has been singled out, doxxed, and targeted by SJW thugs while police stand by and do nothing,” the page continued.

“Please help raise money for his security and medical needs, and to help him replace his stolen equipment,” Malkin wrote. “Every cent goes directly to Andy.”

“I said during my CPAC speech earlier this year that we need to stand with those reporting and fighting on the front lines. Andy is one of the intrepid journalists doing the job no one else will do,” she explained. “I’ve been in touch with him and he has given me the green light to create this fund. All funds will help him continue his invaluable work.”

As of this writing, some $144,000 had been donated.
