This surely helps to explain all of the unhinged rantings of Democrats and their sycophantic allies in the deep state and media.
On Friday during an interview with Fox News, POTUS Donald Trump repeated an earlier claim that he plans to declassify everything related to the deep state coup attempt against him “pretty soon,” noting that a New York Times story finally admitting that yes, his 2016 campaign was spied upon, means the time for a reckoning is near.
“Finally, Mainstream Media is getting involved - too “hot” to avoid,” the president tweeted. “Pulitzer Prize anyone? … This is bigger than WATERGATE, but the reverse!”
Without setting a deadline, POTUS noted on Fox News, “I will be declassifying, yes. Everything.”
The president also blasted former FBI Director James Comey, whom he called “amoral” for leaking classified information to a friend so the friend could give it to the Times — unprecedented for the head of our country’s leading law enforcement agency.
And he also pointed fingers as Comey as being a ringleader of Spygate.
“Comey leaked and he lied. He lied in front to Congress,” said the president who by now has all the details regarding the operation against him.
POTUS also said he believes Comey was responsible for digging up dirt on the 2016 campaign in an effort to derail his presidency.
“I would say he probably led some kind of an effort,” Trump said of Comey. “The word ‘spying’ has been used. He probably was one of the people leading the effort on spying.”
“It could very well be true. We are going to find out pretty soon,” said the president — perhaps telegraphing details he already has.
Comey said last month that he disagreed with AG Barr’s use of the term “spying” to describe the coup campaign against POTUS.
“I have no idea what the heck he’s talking about,” Comey claimed (sure you do, Jim).
But the president doubled down afterward, saying “there was absolutely spying into my campaign.”
“I’ll go a step further: In my opinion, it was illegal spying, unprecedented spying, and something that should never be allowed to happen in our country again, and I think his answer was actually a very accurate one,” POTUS added.
It is stunning that Comey preferred a woman who was quite obviously the most corrupt, criminally investigated presidential nominee in the history of our country, even over an unorthodox but inherently honest alternative in Trump.
After outing these seditious individuals, trials and, upon conviction, jail terms need to come next. We can’t have members of either major party behaving as though our country is a third-world banana republic with a rotating presidency based on which faction is in charge during any given month.
