It’s already evident, based on the fact that the deep state has been unable to find a damned thing on him, that POTUS Donald Trump may wind up being the most forthright, scandal-free president we have elected in generations.
He’s turning out to be one of the most ethical and honest, as well.
The president ran on a pro-Second Amendment platform, and by any reasonable assessment, he has been true to it. And on Friday during a keynote address to the National Rifle Association, POTUS Trump reaffirmed a uniquely American right: To keep and bear arms.
To roars of the crowd, Trump declared he was ending the UN Arms Control Treaty signed by his Spygate predecessor, Barack Obama, in 2013 that many critics at the time saw as part of a larger effort by globalist Leftists to disarm the American people.

“So in the last administration, President Obama signed the UN Arms Trade treaty and in his waning days in office, he sent the treaty to the Senate to begin the ratification process. The treaty threatened…your rights,” the president said.
“Under my administration, we will never surrender American sovereignty to anyone,” he said. “We will never allow foreign bureaucrats to trample on your Second Amendment freedoms.
“And that is why my administration will never ratify the UN Arms Trade Treaty,” he declared. “I hope you’re happy.”
“We’re taking our signature back,” Trump concluded.
In front of “a lot of witnesses,” the president signed a message asking the Senate to discontinue its ratification process and send the treaty back to the Oval Office, where he will “dispose of it.”
He also added that the United Nations would also be getting formal notification that the treaty would not be approved.
And of course, the NRA approved.
“Today in front of 15,000 NRA members, President Trump once again demonstrated his commitment to our Second Amendment freedoms and American Sovereignty,” Chris W. Cox, executive director of the National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action, said in a statement.
“His commitment to un-sign the anti-gun United Nations Arms Trade Treaty that was forced on us by John Kerry and Barack Obama, gives NRA members one more reason to enthusiastically support his presidency. Donald Trump isn’t afraid to stand on the side of freedom and defend our God-given right to self-defense and we couldn’t be prouder to stand with him.”
The treaty has about 130 signatories and has been in effect since 2014. The U.S., however, has never ratified it.
The treaty was billed as an ‘international effort’ to curb the trade in small arms. However, if the U.S. had ratified it, gun rights advocates said that it would have applied to domestic sales of small arms inside U.S. borders, which would have been blatantly unconstitutional.
