Every time a Democrat disparages Justice Brett Kavanaugh and accuses him of some nefarious sexual misconduct he allegedly engaged in back in the day, they need to get some major pushback because none of those allegations are true.
They were fabricated by Left-wing extremists and their allies in the Democratic Party in a desperate and unprecedented effort to keep him from being confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court, where he belongs.
In fact, the claims made by women Democrats trotted forth to claim that Kavanaugh masterminded deviant sexual assaults and other behavior while in high school and college were so fabricated they earned criminal referrals (plural) to the Justice Department, compliments of then-Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley.
Other accusers recanted their claims while none of the accusations of Kavanaugh’s principal accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, were corroborated. Also, Blasey Ford could not remember anything about the night Kavanaugh allegedly assaulted her — the date or location of the alleged attack; how she got to the house party where she says she was assaulted;  how she got home.
But never mind facts. The extremist Democratic Left doesn’t deal in facts, they traffic in innuendo and fabricated narratives. And they are relentless.
Months after Kavanaugh was confirmed and seated on SCOTUS, a report claims that a former top aide for two-time presidential failure Hillary Clinton is running a “dark money” campaign to get him fired from a teaching job — using the fake, uncorroborated sexual assault allegations as justification.
Fox News reported that Brian Fallon, who served as Clinton’s 2016 national spokesman, is behind an effort to prevent Kavanaugh from teaching at George Mason University this summer. Fallon is head of an intentionally misnamed group called Demand Justice, a progressive advocacy organization that hides its funding (of course).
The effort, dubbed “Mason 4 Survivors,” involves the circulation of a petition that has so far garnered more than 5,000 signatures. The group wants George Mason president Angel Cabrera to “terminate AND void ALL contracts and affiliation with Brett Kavanaugh at George Mason University” — because to Leftists, anyone who disagrees fundamentally with their point of view should never be able to influence others with their ideology and point of view.
“There is a historic amount of institutional negligence on your part to support survivors of sexual assault and the student body as a whole, which has bred a sense of mistrust and suffering within the Mason community and allies,” the petition says.
And, per HuffPost, Fallon’s organization has also launched a Facebook advertising campaign targeting anyone connected with George Mason University and urging them to sign the petition. In addition, the ad seeks to guide users to another petition urging Congress to investigate Kavanaugh.
Again, despite the fact –Â fact — that none of the allegations against him are legitimate.
Why all the hubbub? Because the university last month announced that Kavanaugh would be its Antonin Scalia Law School as a distinguished visiting professor. He is scheduled to co-teach a two-credit course this summer in England called “Creation of the Constitution” — which is perfect for him because he, like Scalia, is a constitutional originalist.
Cabrera, meanwhile, is defending Kavanaugh’s appointment, which is a good thing.
“I respect the views of people who disagreed with Justice Kavanaugh’s Senate confirmation due to questions raised about his sexual conduct in high school. But he was confirmed and is now a sitting Justice,” Cabrera said.
“The law school has determined that the involvement of a U.S. Supreme Court Justice contributes to making our law program uniquely valuable for our students.”
It’s not that the Left is wrong to use their constitutionally recognized right to protest. It’s that they do so far too often without the benefit of facts on their side.
