(TNS) Hoax? As authorities search for clues regarding the “attempting bombings” of high-profile Democrats including former President Obama and the Clintons, it’s worth mentioning a couple of things to put all of this in perspective.
We don’t yet know who sent the bombs, and we certainly condemn any and all acts of violence aimed at ‘settling’ our political discourse. That, of course, includes murder attempts.
But what we’re seeing play out today in the news is extremely suspicious for a number of reasons. And while speculation is not always the best form of reasoning, analyzing what is happening and comparing these incidents to others is appropriate:
— First and foremost, none of the explosive devices that someone or some group attempted to send to their intended targets either went off or made it to the intended target. If you’re serious about trying to kill a political figure with a bomb, sending the device through the mail is about the surest way to fail (and get caught).
— Republicans, not Democrats, have regularly been victimized over the past year. The Daily Caller recently published a list of eight separate incidents involving Leftists who align with the party of the donkey attacking or assaulting Republicans, or vandalizing their campaign offices.
— The one true murder attempt occurred during the summer of 2017, when a committed Leftist and supporter of Sen. Bernie Sanders tried to assassinate House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La.
— Not a single Democrat that we know of has stepped forward to publicly condemn any of the attacks, assaults, or acts of vandalism. But there have been plenty of Democrats attempting to justify them.
— Speaking of the Clintons, Hillary herself recently said that Republicans should not be treated in a civil manner and that incivility should be the order of the day until Democrats are back in power. “You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about. That’s why I believe if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and/or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again. But until then, the only thing that the Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength,†she said.
— Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., and Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., have called on supporters to physically confront Republicans and Trump administration officials, which has been happening more and more frequently in recent months.
So clearly, it’s the Democrats, not Republicans, whose modus operandi is the use of force and violence to win power. Sending bombs through the mail is not at all typical for Republicans.
What is typical for Democrats, however, is to use whatever means possible and go to any lengths to win (or steal) power.
They corrupted the Justice Department, the FBI, and the State Department with “Spygate” to try and overturn the 2016 election.
They exploited and used women in an attempt to destroy the character of POTUS Trump’s most recent Supreme Court nominee.
Through the use of Antifa and other mobs, they routinely show up at conservative events on college campuses, in cities, or Trump rallies to attack conservatives and the president’s supporters.
None of these tactics have worked. In fact, given the most recent polling data, one could very truthfully say the tactics have backfired and are emboldening voters to support Republicans next month.
Suddenly, a bunch of bombs show up that were ostensibly being sent to top ‘enemies’ of Republicans — the Clintons, Barack Obama, CNN, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and John Brennan.
That’s just too convenient, isn’t it?
Because what this does — two weeks before the election — is take the migrant caravan, Left-wing mob violence, Robert Mueller’s bogus ‘Russia collusion’ probe, and the “Kavanaugh effect” out of the news, along with stories about Democrats’ dashing hopes for a “blue wave.”
Democrats would do anything and would exploit anyone to wrest power from Republicans and complete their coup against POTUS Trump. We think that would include the appearance of sending ‘bombs’ to people and institutions the Right despises the most, just to create the illusion that Republicans are ‘dangerous’ and ought to be voted out.
