(TNS)Â Open Borders: While POTUS Donald Trump mulls options for stopping the rapidly expanding migrant invasion streaming towards the U.S. border, he correctly called out the political party most responsible for it: Democrats.
Thanks to the virtual open borders policies of Barack Hussein Obama and Democrats’ refusal to join Republicans in fixing our broken immigration and asylum system, word has spread throughout the poor countries of Central America and Mexico that if you can make it to our borders, your chances of getting in (and staying) are pretty good.
On Sunday, the president laid the blame at the feet of Democrats in a tweet, writing that Homeland Security authorities are continuing “full efforts to stop the onslaught of illegal aliens” who are traveling north in a caravan numbering between 5,000 and 10,000 people.
He also said the caravan is “a disgrace to the Democrat Party.”
“People have to apply for asylum in Mexico first, and if they fail to do that, the U.S. will turn them away,” he added, as Fox News and others reported. “The courts are asking the U.S. to do things that are not doable!â€

“The caravans are a disgrace to the Democrat Party. Change the immigration laws NOW!†he noted further.
Of course, the president is correct. But here’s something else that whichever Leftist organization or billionaire is backing this invasion (on behalf of Democrats) didn’t count on: The migrant caravan is the perfect campaign advertisement for Republicans.
Talk about energizing the GOP voting base to show up at the polls in two weeks.
And wow, aren’t those poor, abused Honduran migrants really ready to become Americans!
