McConnell vows to ‘plow through’ the barriers to get Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court

(National SentinelLet’s Do It: Though earlier reports suggested that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell might be wavering in his support for Judge Brett Kavanaugh, the Kentucky Republican assured the country on Friday that his nomination will move forward soon to a full vote of the Senate, Democratic distractions notwithstanding.

“We’re going to plow right through it,” McConnell said, The Gateway Pundit reported.

The Democratic propaganda machine, also known as the “mainstream” media, has been doing everything in their power to promote allegations leveled by Palo Alto professor Christine Blasey Ford who says that Kavanaugh nearly “raped” her 36 years ago — at some party…somewhere…on some date she can’t recall…with a guy in the room who says he wasn’t.

According to Fox News‘ congressional correspondent Chad Pergram, McConnell said, “In the very near future, Judge Kavanaugh will be on the Supreme Court…so keep the faith. We’re going to plow right through it.”

As long as Kavanaugh retained the support of all Republicans (RINOs included), there was never anything Democrats could do to stop POTUS Donald Trump’s second Supreme Court nominee from being confirmed.

So they dug up these allegations and threw Ford to the wolves in an effort to get enough Republicans — just a couple — to defect and side with them so they could thwart the appointment of a superbly qualified constitutionalist just because they’re afraid he may side with a court majority and overturn their precious Roe v. Wade, the 1973 high court ruling that reached into the Constitution and claimed to have found the right to kill unborn babies.

McConnell also said, according to Pergram, “We’re going to wrap up here at the end of the month a lot of our business. We’re going to fund the government. We’re going to have Judge Kavanaugh..Justice Kavanaugh.”

Earlier this week, Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, set a 10 a.m. EDT Friday deadline for Ford, through her attorneys or on her own, to provide the panel with her prepared testimony and biography, but she has refused to do so. That deadline has now passed.

Pergram noted: “Judiciary Cmte had asked that Ford’s documents arrive by 10 am et if she was to testify Monday morning. But they appear willing to give Ford some latitude. GOPers do want to hear from her. Question is whether Grassley is willing to bend.”

McConnell’s reassuring statement comes after a late-night tweet from POTUS Trump ally Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., who said unequivocally “the Kavanaugh nomination is still on track.”

He also noted, “The President is dead right about Judge Kavanaugh being highly qualified, the right person for the job, and also right about letting process play out.”

The process is played out. Time to put a qualified jurist on the Supreme Court.
