(National Sentinel) Crisis: On Monday POTUS Donald Trump issued an order to the FBI and Justice Department to declassify all documents related to FISA warrant applications on one-time 2016 campaign adviser Carter Page.

It now appears as though Deep State figures within both Executive Branch agencies are “colluding” to defy the order, according to investigative reporter Sara A. Carter, citing inside sources.

On Wednesday, we reported that panicking Democrats – Rep. Adam Schiff, Rep. Nancy Pelosi, Senator Mark Warner, and Senator Charles Schumer — sent a letter to Director of Intelligence Dan Coats, Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein and Director Wray, ordering them the not to comply with POTUS Trump’s declassification instruction.

They were enjoined by many of the usual suspects including former CIA Director, leaker, and Trump-hater John Brennan, who claimed that officials at the FBI and DoJ have some sort of “obligation” to circumvent the commander-in-chief and ignore a perfectly valid, lawful order.

Carter claims that elements within the FBI and DoJ appear to be doing just that. She told Fox Business‘ Lou Dobbs Wednesday evening that officials are going to deliver the documents heavily redacted, in direct defiance of POTUS Trump’s instruction.

“I’ve been told by sources that the documents will be turned over to the President next week. I hear that the FBI and the DOJ are redacting,” Carter said. “What they’re going to do is turn those documents over to the president and what they’re going to say is ‘now it’s up to you to declass’–I think they are going to figure ways to stall or maybe put pressure on the president.”

Constitutional law experts have said that any delay or defiance of POTUS Trump’s order amounts to a massive violation of precedent and could cause a crisis within government.

D.C.-area attorney Will Chamberlain says the letter amounts to a constitutional crisis. He has urged majority Republicans to consider taking action against those who signed the letter.

“You are equal branches of government, but they’re not subordinate to you,” Chamberlain said of the letter signers. “I’m sorry — President Trump has not issued a request to the intelligence agencies that they declassify this information, he has issued an order.”

He went on, noting, “President Trump has issued an order to his subordinates to declassify certain information related to the Russia investigation. He has plenary declassification authority as the President of the United States. The FBI and DOJ are subordinate to him. Congress does not get to order Executive Branch officials to defy a president — that is actually a constitutional crisis.”

In an op-ed column for Fox News, legal analyst Gregg Jarrett said essentially the same thing. And he said any official, including Wray and Rosenstein, who defy the president should be fired immediately for “rank insubordination.”

And he also issued a Sara Carter-esque warning:

In the alternative, [Deep State officials] may endeavor to delay or “slow roll” the release of documents hoping that the political winds may shift or that control of Congress itself will change hands in the upcoming election.

Sounds like Jarrett’s been around D.C. awhile.

Hopefully, POTUS Trump and his administration are preparing for this insubordination and readying a list of who to appoint to these agencies in the interim.

The president has issued an order. A lawful order. These agencies have no choice but to respond as ordered. Or face the consequences.

And we can’t help but saying this: If POTUS had a strong attorney general, none of this would be happening.
