(National Sentinel) Spot-On: A liberal-leaning think tank in South Africa is confirming POTUS Donald Trump’s tweeted observations about “land reform” policies in the country, that the government is stealing land from white farmers with an eye toward ‘redistributing’ it to majority blacks because that’s only fair.
In a statement, the South African Institute of Race Relations (SAIRR) said the policy was causing “damage” to the country and would not bring about positive results.
The statement came in response to POTUS Trump’s tweet Wednesday that he has “asked Secretary of State [Mike Pompeo] to closely study the South Africa land farm seizures and expropriations and the large scale killing of farmers. ‘South African Government is now seizing land from white farmers,'” he said in response to Fox News‘ Tucker Carlson, who reported on the developments this week.
I have asked Secretary of State @SecPompeo to closely study the South Africa land and farm seizures and expropriations and the large scale killing of farmers. “South African Government is now seizing land from white farmers.” @TuckerCarlson @FoxNews

As usual, POTUS Trump’s statements were met with charges of racism! racism! White nationalism! — because the reactionary Left is incapable of rational thought and is immune to truths that do not advance their agenda (imagine the utter head-splitting outrage if a white majority country was stealing farmland from minority black farmers).
The South African government also responded.
“President [Cyril] Ramaphosa has pledged that the land reform process will follow the rule of law, and its implementation will not adversely affect economic growth, agricultural production, or food security,†the statement asserted.
But is it following the rule of law? Sure — but it’s the law that is questionable.
Ramaphosa and his ruling African National Congress party are changing the country’s constitution to allow for the theft of white-owned farms.
Sounds fair, right?
SAIRR said that POTUS Trump is right.
“President Donald Trump’s announcement that he has directed his Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, to ‘study the South Africa land and farm seizures and expropriations and the large scale killing of farmers’ is another indication of the damage that the reckless handling of South Africa’s ‘land question’ is doing,” the organization said.
“Expropriation without compensation (EWC) has become one of the dominant themes in the country’s politics. This has been deliberately driven by the government and ruling party, even though survey evidence has shown that land – particularly in the agrarian sense – is not a priority for South Africa’s people,” said the think tank, per Breitbart News.
But that’s not all. This is liable to get worse.
“There is no guarantee that expropriations will ultimately be limited to land; once momentum begins to build, it is probably inevitable that they will extend to other spheres of the economy,” said the think tank.
“It is remarkable that South Africa’s government is apparently willing to risk its own economic interests for a policy choice that will do nothing to resolve the issues for which it is nominally being adopted,” the organization concluded.
Black racists in South Africa have adopted the same mantra that black racists in America have adopted: Whatever whites have, they have ‘stolen’ it or otherwise obtained it improperly and therefore it must be stolen back to make things ‘right again.’ Never mind that these farms have been in white hands for centuries and that blacks living in the region had done nothing with the land beforehand.
These are the kinds of actions that destroy civil societies. South Africa is next.
