(National Sentinel) Bill of Some Rights: The Left’s anti-gun absurdity is reaching fever pitch as e-commerce platforms, banks, and other financial institutions line up to deny legitimate gun sellers the opportunity to earn a living selling a legal product that happens to also be constitutionally protected.
But a teaching assistant at the University of Utah took the absurdity even further — so far, in fact, that the school has been forced to dismiss her.
The Washington Times reported that the as-yet-unidentified instructor was removed from the classroom after shaming those carrying a firearm and attempting to establish a “Second Amendment Zone” to segregate them after accusing carriers of “absurd, antisocial, and frightening behavior.”
In a statement, the university said that the assistant “will not teach this semester and will instead have other assignments†after determining that she violated state law and university policy since students have been able to carry concealed there since 2006.
The Times reported further:
The teacher had initially issued a “weapons policy†to students saying gun-carriers would be forced to stand in a “3×3 taped square†in the back of the classroom.
[How do lunatics like this get teaching certificates? A ‘3×3 square’?]
“If you feel that it is somehow at all appropriate to bring a gun to class (hint: it is not — this is absurd, antisocial, and frightening behavior), you are restricted to spending your time in class in my ‘second amendment zone’ a 3×3 taped square on the floor in the very back of the classroom, that will be shared with all other gun carriers,†the instructor wrote, Campus Reform reported.
“This zone also does not include a desk, because desks are reserved for students who respect the personal and psychological safety of their classmates and instructor.â€
Uh, who’s being ‘absurd?’
The Left — and especially the academic Left — is becoming more insane by the day in the age of POTUS Trump. The thing to keep in mind is that if they are ever allowed to govern, the republic is lost.
