(National Sentinel)Â Fundamental Transformation: It began with the far-Left Obama presidency but it has continued to course through the lifeblood of the Democratic Party to the point where now a majority of its backers are all aboard with Socialism.
Punctuated by clueless economist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s primary victory in New York earlier this year and accentuated by an adoring Left-wing media whose own reporters don’t understand that their news organizations must profit in order for them to have a job, a new survey finds that most Democratic voters want to transform the U.S. into a giant Venezuela.
As reported by The Daily Caller:
Democrats have a more positive view of socialism than they do of capitalism, a Gallup poll published Monday reveals.
Fifty-seven percent of Democrats view socialism favorably, while just 47 percent of Democrats have a positive view of capitalism, according to the poll. In contrast, 71 percent of Republicans have a positive view of capitalism, while just 16 percent viewed socialism favorably.
Monday’s poll was “the first time in Gallup’s measurement over the past decade that Democrats viewed socialism more favorably than capitalism,†the polling firm noted.
The landmark poll comes as socialists are ascendant in the Democratic Party.
Party leaders are attempting to walk back this creeping socialism but are obviously having little success.
Fellow Democratic Socialist of America member Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), also won her primary on Aug. 7. So along with Ocasio-Cortez, that makes two DSA members who will be guiding Democratic Party policy moving forward.
Meanwhile, in Venezuela, socialism is now being squarely blamed for that country’s massive collapse.
Writing at NBC News, Juan Carlos Hidalgo, a Latin America policy analyst at the Cato Institute’s Center for Global Liberty and Prosperity, notes that the “seeds” for what can only be described the current “chaos” were planted in 1999 when Hugo Chavez was elected and dismantled the country’s existing economic order, which made Venezuela the richest South American nation thanks in large part to its massive oil reserves.
“Venezuela is in free fall. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen it hit bottom yet,” he writes.
This is the future of America if Democrats seize power.
