(National Sentinel) Tainted: Since POTUS Donald Trump was sworn into office we’ve learned more and more about the Deep State alliance that acted in unison to oppose not only his candidacy but to undermine his administration following his victory.
We know this because in report after report, for more than a year and a half, details of the collusion between the Deep State intelligence apparatus, the “establishment media,” and the Obama administration have been released.
The House Intelligence Committee’s own findings recognize Russian “meddling” but they also note that there was never any evidence to suspect the 2016 Trump campaign of colluding with Russia to “steal the election.
None. Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., has said so, repeatedly. He has said the entire “Spygate” witch hunt was all political.
There is no “there, there” when it comes to POTUS Trump and Russia. None.
And yet, the disgustingly dishonest media and far-Left Democrats are running around claiming that POTUS Trump is somehow wrong and “treasonous” because he won’t accept “intelligence” that was provided to him before his inauguration ‘proving’ Russian meddling.
They want Trump to admit to Russian meddling so they can then say, “See?? See?? He ADMITTED collusion!”Â
It’s a trap. And he sees it.
That’s why he told CBS News‘ anchor Jeff Glor Wednesday evening that he doesn’t trust ‘intelligence’ provided by the Deep State’s biggest hacks — former Director of National Intelligence James “Liar” Clapper and communist-in-hiding former CIA Director John Brenner.
And he made the distinction between them and the intelligence community he oversaw: The rank-and-file agents do great work, but the hacks at the top tried to nail him with a bogus investigation. Period.
Of course, Brennan and Clapper aren’t the only ones, as Breitbart News reported:
“It’s been terrible,†Trump told CBS anchor Jeff Glor, citing the names of former CIA director John Brennan, former director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, Former Director of the National Security Agency Michael Hayden, former FBI director James Comey, as well as prominent FBI agents Andrew McCabe, Lisa Page, and Peter Strzok.
The president responded to a question from Glor about whether or not he felt that former intelligence agents were “out to get him.†Trump said that he had difficulty trusting their judgment, as they stood vehemently against him.
“Certainly I can’t have any confidence in the past,†Trump said, citing the “all of the shenanigans that have gone on†in the intelligence community under former President Barack Obama.
“Very hard to have confidence in that group,†he added.
Brennan has been openly hostile to Trump on numerous occasions. But he said Clapper wrote him “a beautiful letter” after his election victory, only to turn against him since.
“All of a sudden, he’s gone haywire because they got to him and they probably, got him to say things that maybe he doesn’t even mean,†he said, adding he has confidence in his own national security/intelligence team.
Trump has every right to distrust any and all ‘intelligence he was provided by Brenner, Clapper, and every other Obama administration hack.
To continue doubting that he was targeted by a fake counterintelligence operation aimed at helping Hillary and harming him is to be delusional beyond reach.
