(National Sentinel) Deep State: If Attorney General Jeff Sessions doesn’t wake up from his slumber and take control over his Justice Department, his deputy, Rod Rosenstein, is going to continue working against his overall boss, President Donald Trump.

According to The New York Times, Rosenstein has sent an unusual request to all 93 U.S. attorneys, ordering them to review documents related to POTUS Trump’s Supreme Court pick, U.S. District Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit Brett Kavanaugh.

What the heck is Rosenstein up to?

According to the Times Rosenstein’s email subject line read, “Personal Message to U.S. Attorneys From the Deputy A.G.,” and included this sentence: “We need your help in connection with President Trump’s nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to serve on the Supreme Court.”

The Times reported:

Rod J. Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general, has asked federal prosecutors to help review the government documents of Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh, President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, according to a letter obtained by The New York Times on Wednesday.

Mr. Rosenstein’s request was an unusual insertion of politics into federal law enforcement. While the Justice Department has helped work on previous Supreme Court nominations, department lawyers in Washington typically carry out that task, not prosecutors who pursue criminal investigations nationwide.

But in an email sent this week to the nation’s 93 United States attorneys, Mr. Rosenstein asked each office to provide up to three federal prosecutors “who can make this important project a priority for the next several weeks.” Names were to be submitted to Mr. Rosenstein’s office by the end of Wednesday.

Mr. Rosenstein’s email, which had the subject line “Personal Message to U.S. Attorneys From the Deputy A.G.,” included the sentence, “We need your help in connection with President Trump’s nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to serve on the Supreme Court.”

Christopher Hunter, a former FBI agent and federal prosecutor, said, “It’s flat-out wrong to have career federal prosecutors engaged in a political process like the vetting of a Supreme Court nominee. It takes them away from the mission they’re supposed to be fulfilling, which is effective criminal justice enforcement,” the Times reported.

So what’s Rosenstein doing? Who does he think he is?

Some speculate that Rosenstein is aware that POTUS Trump can — and would — take any case against him filed by special counsel Robert Mueller all the way to the Supreme Court.

Like lunatic Democrats, Rosenstein appears to believe that’s the only reason why Trump picked Kavanaugh.

It’s a lie. Trump pledged before the 2016 election to nominate constitutionalists and originalists to the federal bench and especially the Supreme Court. By any measure, Kavanaugh fits that description.

So — is Rosenstein doing all he can to delay Trump’s pick — perhaps beyond the 2018 midterms in the hope that Democrats will regain control of the Senate?

The fact is, Kavanaugh has already been vetted when he was nominated for his current position on the federal bench.

This is a setup!

Where is Jeff Sessions?
