(National Sentinel)Â Two Standards: Democrats are in a tizzy — again — over President Donald Trump’s renewed efforts to preventing them from being able to import millions of new illegal voters.
In particular, they are angry over the administration’s “zero tolerance” policy regarding those who cross our borders illegally. They hate Trump’s policy of separating some migrant children from the adults who brought them along.
Some of these adults are parents of those children. Others are not; they are simply posing as parents so they can apply for asylum.
In other words, they’re gaming our system, which is nothing new, as Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, admitted over the weekend.
This Father's Day, I can't stop thinking about the children being separated from their parents by the Trump administration.
It's time for Congress to pass the #KeepFamiliesTogether Act to put a stop to this inhumane policy.

And so on. You get the drift.
What’s interesting to note — but not wholly unexpected, given their lack of a hypocrisy gene — Democrats were silent when their lord and savior, Barack Obama, was placing migrant kids with human traffickers and other criminals.
None other than The Washington Post documented the real injustice of what was then called “modern-day slavery:
The Obama administration failed to protect thousands of Central American children who have flooded across the U.S. border since 2011, leaving them vulnerable to traffickers and to abuses at the hands of government-approved caretakers, a Senate investigation has found.
The Office of Refugee Resettlement, an agency of the Department of Health and Human Services, failed to do proper background checks of adults who claimed the children, allowed sponsors to take custody of multiple unrelated children, and regularly placed children in homes without visiting the locations, according to a 56-page investigative report released Thursday.
And once the children left federally funded shelters, the report said, the agency permitted their adult sponsors to prevent caseworkers from providing them post-release services.
Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) initiated the six-month investigation after several Guatemalan teens were found in a dilapidated trailer park near Marion, Ohio, where they were being held captive by traffickers and forced to work at a local egg farm. The boys were among more than 125,000 unaccompanied minors who have surged into the United States since 2011, fleeing violence and unrest in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.
“It is intolerable that human trafficking — modern-day slavery — could occur in our own backyard,†Portman said in a written statement. “What makes the Marion cases even more alarming is that a U.S. government agency was responsible for delivering some of the victims into the hands of their abusers.â€
But hey, that was January 2016. Oh, and Obama was responsible then.
So naturally, Democrats were silent.
The bulk of the American people back POTUS Trump’s efforts to control our borders. By attacking him over this issue, hypocrite Democrats prove once more they are more interested in defending illegal immigrants than American citizens.
