(National Sentinel)Â Red Wave: Democrats and the Deep State have done their best to get rid of President Donald J. Trump, but despite giving him their best shots, he’s counter-punched his way through the onslaught.
And Americans have noticed. They are rallying around their feisty, unconventional president in larger numbers.
A recent poll from none other than CNN found that Democrats’ generic polling advantage has tanked (if it was ever really that large to begin with) by 16 points in just a few months:
The Democrats’ advantage in the generic ballot dipped from 16 points in February to six points in March to just three points now. The party’s advantage has waned among enthusiastic voters as Republican enthusiasm has grown (in March, 36% of Republican and Republican-leaning registered voters said they were very enthusiastic about voting…
The same poll went onto say that Democrats are far more enthusiastic about voting in November than Republicans.
But last week’s primaries proved that to be erroneous, as evidenced in Ohio, where 147,000-plus more Republicans showed up to the polls than Democrats.
Blue wave? More like a blue trickle.
And now, yet another CNN poll has found that optimism regarding the country’s direction is soaring, hitting an 11-year high of 57 percent.
As Breitbart News reported, that’s the highest overall optimism level since January 2007. And here’s a bonus: 40 percent of Democrats are optimistic, an increase of 15 points from April.
Just 40 percent of Americans think things are going badly.
“Also of note is that CNN polled a random sample of adults,” Breitbart News reported. “Polls that screen for registered or likely voters generally produce a more favorable result for Trump. This poll is a good example. While Trump’s job approval rating sits at 41 percent with all adults, when CNN’s polling firm (SSRS) screened for registered voters, the president’s job approval rating jumped to 44 percent.”
That nearly six in 10 Americans believe the country is heading the right direction is a very good sign both for Trump and Republicans generally as we head into the 2018 midterms.
As further noted by Breitbart’s John Nolte:
What we are seeing with Trump’s job approval number appears to be the exact opposite of what we saw with former President Barack Obama. While Americans were much less satisfied with the direction of the country under Obama (pessimism climbed steadily throughout his first term), his approval ratings always seemed to defy gravity. This, I think, had to do with the establishment media’s constant cheerleading for Obama, as well as the 44th president’s demeanor.
It is the exact opposite with Trump. While the president is presiding over a country filled with growing optimism, the Russian collusion hoax hangs over his head and the media continue to cover Stormy Daniels as though an alleged 12-year-old roll in the hay with a porn star is Watergate. Americans are also still not used to Trump being Trump. His refusal to roll over in the face of 24/7 media bias, which is what presidents are supposed to do, most especially Republican presidents, remains a shock to the system. All of the above has probably kept Trump’s job approval rating artificially low.
A good rule of thumb is that whatever Democrats and their Pravda media saying about their chances in upcoming elections you can bet the reality is just the opposite.
