(National Sentinel) Media: Washington Post chief correspondent Dan Balz wrote a piece this morning trolling Republicans to turn on President Donald J. Trump, which has already begun to produce results - at least among #nevertrumpers like that political relic, Sen. John McCain, and a few other congressional GOPers.

The reason? Why, Trump’s short administration has been rife with chaos and scandal, don’t you know, and for that reason, it’s becoming impossible - impossible! - to continue defending him.

As reported by Breitbart News:

The Washington Post‘s chief correspondent Dan Balz suggested it may become “necessary” for Republicans lawmakers to oppose President Donald Trump and act as a “check” on his executive power.

In the article published Tuesday, Balz warned that Republicans have arrived “at a moment of reckoning” following successive controversies dogging the Trump administration.

This after the Post on Monday published a news-making piece referencing “highly classified information” allegedly revealed by President Trump to Russian diplomats. It was followed up by a tweet from Washington Post Fact Checker columnist Glenn Kessler, who revealed there was “applause in the newsroom as the Russia-leak scoop breaks the Hollywood Access record for most readers per minute.”

As President Trump has lurched from one crisis to another, Republicans have chosen a strategy of compartmentalization over confrontation, preferring to look away in hopes that the storm would pass. Now, after a pair of stunning revelations about the president, that approach may have run aground. For the GOP, this has become a moment of reckoning.

As the controversies grow worse, so too will the tensions increase between the desire of congressional Republicans and the president to maintain a positive relationship and the responsibility of one branch of government to provide a check against another when that becomes necessary.

What Balz and most of the rest of the disgraceful media types in D.C. are failing to say, however, is that all of this “Trump crisis” has been ginned up by them.

Trump is facing a political coup - there is no question about it - and it’s being driven in large part by the daily media assault which, for a president this new into his first term, is just unprecedented. The media breathlessly publish every single leak - without fact-checking most of them - and then proclaim what they’ve reported as evidence that the end of the world is at hand.

No matter where these media hacks are getting their leaks - many of which do rise to the level of illegality under national security statutes - the fact is, the establishment media is playing its role in helping the Deep State and Left-wing powers that be railroad a duly elected president.

They have stopped being the responsible check on power the framers envisioned a free press to be and have become a threat to republic and every single American living in it, regardless of political ideology.

Make no mistake, the press is in on this coup. The press drives the daily narrative. The press knows most of what it’s reporting about Trump and his administration is not leading to our demise, but rather is all part of a narrative with one outcome in mind: The removal of a president who has vowed to drain the swamp where they live and thrive.

The Trump White House is in “crisis” in large part because that’s a condition the media has helped created. And any Republican like that loathsome McCain who is on board with what’s being done to Trump is part of the cabal of establishment degenerates who have all but destroyed representative government.

The very best defense against the so-called “Mainstream media’s” non-objective daily narrative is to ignore it.
