(NationalSentinel) Republicans in Congress are reportedly getting cold feet when it comes to repealing and replacing Obamacare, as they and President Donald J. Trump promised during the last election they would do.

Chief among their concerns is that they’ll be accused by their political opponents and the lamestream media of being heartless demons who would rather see old people and children die than allow them ‘the dignity’ of ‘affordable health insurance’ granted them by Democrats and their demigod, former President Barack Obama.

12-19-16-10-10-45_promo_article_160x600-option-15b15dOnly, the lamestream media doesn’t like Republicans anyway, and Democrats will demagogue this issue to death in order to save it because it gives Uncle Sam near-total control over all healthcare in the U.S. - even though they exempted themselves from it.

And there is this: The more Americans experience the disaster that is Obamacare, the more they hate it.

As reported by The Daily Signal:

The polling data show us that Obamacare has been unpopular. They can also shed light on why.

The Pew Research Center finds that as time goes on, more people report being personally affected by Obamacare—as would be expected for any new government program.

However, Americans reporting they have been negatively affected is higher than those who say they have been positively affected.

Similarly, Gallup’s regular polling also consistently found that more Americans said the law has hurt them and their families than say it has helped, sometimes by a margin of 2-to-1.

What do Americans hate most about the law? “Quality of care, access, and soaring costs usually top the list of issues and concerns Americans have with Obamacare,” The Daily Signal reported.

Like when Obama lied repeatedly about what the Affordable Care Act would and would not do in the run-up to its eventual controversial passage, it all sounded so good. Too good, in fact, to be true.

Which is why it wasn’t.

Most people are cool with Obamacare who have never had to use it. When they experience its epic failures, that’s when they turn against it

Republicans should not be spooked by the angry Left when they shout the virtues of Obamacare. The fact is, there really aren’t any.
